Master Coleman is an amazing person as well as an amazing instructor!! My daughter has learned so many different physical skills as well as emotional skills. She is displaying leadership qualities at school as well as her personal friendships. My daughter loves going to practice all the time. Highly recommend POW Martial Arts! Master Cody is engaging, funny, a remarkable teacher and experienced in martial arts as well as teaching children. We love that the schedule is open (class times are set on the weekly schedule but you can choose which time to attend each week). I took Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do in my youth, and recently my body has been complaining that I don't get enough exercise. When my daughter (8) showed interest in "karate," we started looking for a school in our area . Thankfully, POW opened up not long after and we decided to check it out. Mr. Coleman is awesome! He's got a great attitude and knows how to handle a pack of kids like nothing I've seen before. He's got a knack for balancing humor with serious training and we've really been enjoying our classes. This has been such an amazing experience for my children. They look forward to seeing Mr. Mitchell and Mr. Coleman. They teach respect, manners, self defense, and Tae Kwon Do. Went to a belt ceremony and was blown away with the skill and teaching style of the instructor. There was a tangible bond between the teacher and all students. My close friend that was participating has been with Mr. Coleman for a short amount of time and I was blown away with the skills and control that he had already been taught. Hands down one of the best instructors I have been blessed to meet! Mr Coleman sets the bar high for all his students because he knows that they all are capable of going above and beyond it. He helps us boost our self esteem by always giving the right amount of encouragement and praise. But at the same time he knows when apply pressure to us, so that we are able to stay humble and grow as true martial artists. My family are fortunate to meet Mr. Coleman. He is by far the best instructor that my son had. He sets a great example to both his students and instructors. In a short time, he made such a big positive impact that every families who got to know him will agree with me. When you walk in to the school, he greets you with respects and sincerity. He will train your child the proper way and make it super fun. He teaches from his heart. My son started out quite shy around people and Mr. Coleman in his unique way helped to change that. The result is a hugh transformation. It's worth every penny and more. You won't be disappointed, I can bet on it!!! Look no more, go to his school and try it if you don't believe me.
