What do you love most about your job?
What I enjoy most from my job is the companionship from a new fur-friend as you build a new bond together with every visit. The unconditional gratitude from them that they aren't alone during that moment of time. That special smile or a loud purr during playtime, knowing they are having a good time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I grew up loving animals and was on the path of learning about becoming a Veterinarian. That path, unfortunately, had a detour; I worked other jobs, but always had animals in my life. When we relocated from the Bay Area, a neighbor was in need of assistance with their pups on short notice. I jumped in to help and decided I wanted to do this full time. I never looked back, in 2016 I started my own business, Playful Pal.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Being safe right now is on everyone's mind during Covid.
When I arrive at your home I typically sanitize my shoes and hands prior to entry. I wear a mask and occasionally gloves if requested.
When boarding your pet at there Stay-cation at my home. I disinfect items as they come into the home. I require the owner to wear a mask and I provide booties if entering the home.

Playful Pal is here for you in your home or ours. We care for cats, dogs, and some smaller critters. Restriction due apply and we follow Covid protocol.

Pet Boarding/Kennel
We are currently hosting up to 5 families at one time. Usually, it varies weekly due to boarding and daycare reservations.
The pets that Stay-cation with us have a wonderful experience and lots of one on one attention throughout the day.
Currently, we are hosting pups under 40 lbs; space is limited.
Dog Walking/ Pet Sitting
For Dog Walking, we service most of the Rocklin and Roseville areas.
If you need a walk, whether it's a slower or slightly quicker pace based on your pup's age and needs we can definitely help you there.
The walk or yard play usually lasts about 15-20 minutes with a 30-minute visit.
House Visits for Cats and smaller critters
We come to your home and care for your pet in the environment they feel most safe.
We feed, provide fresh water, occasionally administer none IV medicine and give your pet attention while you are gone based on each household's needs.
