This is a very busy office but the people, both office staff and counsellors are very caring and I have always found them both helpful and professional. They go above and beyond.

Easy and relatively quick access. One stop shopping, psychiatrist, counseling, numerous groups all under one roof. Each practitioner can access your records, rarely seen in independent practioners. Great experience personally with Psychiatrist, counselor groups and support staff all excellent. More...

I had a good experience at first especially with the anxiety group. My anxiety was improved. However, after a while I started to see myself doing things that were not in my personality and previously disgusted me. I started to become someone I didn't recognize...in a bad way. To me, I became that disgustingly positive person -- We all know one. The one who is so annoying that you just want to tell to shut up. For instance, I started exercising. The whole idea of exercising always grossed me out. Then I became the person who was all into it and picking out sweat bands for my hair and wearing diffuser bracelets and doing yoga and meditating...and was like woah....I do not like this new person. It is not who I want to be. I'm gross. I'm done. I'm down a path that is looking the way I don't want to be. I do not care if it helps me or not. I just don't think this is who I am. There are so many examples of ways that I changed my personality that I didn't like. Also, why are meditating people who always talk about why this current moment is the most important meditating to a moment that is not the current one? Makes no sense. I want the anxiety to go away, but not at the risk of becoming someone I don't recognize. More...

Very clean, often quiet place. It is very busy and there are several activities here for therapy besides one on one. It is a good place.

I have been seeing christine over a year now and I have improved so much. After a lot of hard work and a lot of ups and downs I feel good and confident in myself. I went from suicidal to feeling powerful and good. A lot of the reviewers here give 1 stars for the pettiest of reasons, and definitely consider that therapy wont work unless you want it to work. I have a feeling a lot of the negative comments here just came from people who may not have had their heart fully into trying to get better and wanted to get their anger out. I definitely recommend giving pinnacle a chance! Dont give up!! More...

I have never had an issue and my doctor has helped me a great deal. I guess its down to communication and i feel like bad reviews are little too harsh. But everyone is different and i happened to have good expirience with this institution. More...

My psychiatrist and therapist finally got me on the right track. Dr. Chappin is an awesome psychiatrist who asked me very thorough questions and seemed to be generally very devoted to helping me and all his patients. This place saved my life. The only issues are that I wanted to see my therapist more than once every two weeks.Eventually, I moved away from Albany and had to find another doctor. But I definitely recommend them, and they were very accommodating with my insurance, which at the time was a Medicaid insurance and I am forever grateful to them More...

I met with the Director of Operations for an initial entry 'interview' and I'm quite impressed. He was attentive, a solid listener and offered a helping hand with an open door policy. The lady that checked me in was very kind and quick to assist. I haven't read the most flattering reviews for Pinnacle and it's a shame because I had such a wonderful introductory into the practice when I went this morning. I sought out this center because I moved back to the area and needed to re establish care to continue managed care for my meds. I go elsewhere for social work (someone I'd seen years back whom I think the world of), and I will be having my first appt. with the NP in a few weeks. Hope to continue such great experiences here!
