My children goes to the Garland location. This is an awesome place to learn Taekwondo. Master Daniel and the others do a great job teaching the children. They are very patient. Mrs. Paula, the office manager, is very nice and explains the contract well before you sign it. If you have any questions she will answer them. Great place to bring your kids. More...

This is an amazing program. We have been so impressed with Master Lee's compassion toward the kids and his commitment to teaching excellence. His assistant instructors demonstrate this as well. Master Lee runs a well-disciplined program with plenty of room for enjoyment and fun. He sets high (though not unrealistic) expectations for the kids and they rise to the occasion. The kids have tremendous respect for him and the other instructors and it shows. My son and I found Mu Do martial arts after an incident he faced in school. We decided to go take a look to see if they offered self-defense courses etc. After speaking with them, my son decided he'd like to enroll in the nine week course, and the free uniform was nice! Since my sons first session, he has become a more confident and ambitious boy! He fell in love with this sport and after the 9 week periodwas over, he is now enrolled for a year. He is working toward his black belt, which is a goal he will reach in a few years. This has been the best decision my son and I have made! The lessons they teach not only benefit them in their class, but skills they are able to use in everyday situations...I would absolutely recommend this for any child to be able to deal positively with life as they are growing! It is a great place to take your kids, not to learn how to fight and hate others but to get a a personal discipline and to be aware of the danger that they can meet when they are alone or on the streets. Mu Do Martial Arts is focusing on the discipline and safety of the kids, the kids learn to have self confidence. With Confidence there is no fear!

After the first couple of classes, I can say that Grand-master Park teaches authentic Korean martial arts. I have been looking for a Hapkido class for my son and I since our former instructor moved to another state. Since our first conversation I noticed that he knew exactly what Hapkido was including his descriptions of the drills and skills as well as techniques of the art. I noticed since we have started that he is very good breaking down the skills and teaching them step by step. Grand Master Park is amazing. He is full of personality and is patient with kids. My sister and husband both attend his classes multiple times a week and while he gives a good workout, he is never impatient or rude. He is an amazing example of what discipline and passion for Martial Arts means. He is an honorable business man, will help you if you need extra training and gives great advice. He lives and breathes martial arts and it shows in his students. My sister has won multiple medals and progresses regularly. Because of Master Park she has become passionate about this sport. This place is awesome! Grand Master Park is one of the highest degree black belts, he pushes you to always be your best. Grand Master Park is a very accomplished instructor and always keeps you motivated with a very positive attitude. The price is very reasonable too. Me and my brother both signed up and we got free uniforms. The classes are intense and you learn a lot in a short amount of time. I am very glad I signed up, it's so much fun and I feel like I'm becoming a strong more balanced individual. Training here has been a life changing experience for me! Taekwondo and Hapkido has got me into shape faster than any gym could do. I don't like the gym scene much. Nor did I exercise much before starting. In fact, I've been out of shape the last 6 years with work and having kids and since beginning in December 2014 I've lost 30 lbs. and my once weak ankles feel brand new! I shopped around a few schools before finding Mudo and I'm glad I stepped into a place with such an inviting atmosphere and instructors who not only care about doing techniques correctly but doing them in a safe manner as to no one gets hurt. I appreciate Mrs. Paula in the office for working with me on signing up and what's great about Mudo is all instructors here have a plethora of knowledge in the arts and combat I feel no question I ever had has ever gone unanswered. Master Daniel Lee is a tremendously great instructor and person and I'm very thankful to have a school like Mudo to train at. My sons have taken classes from Mu Do for nine months now, and we love it. My younger son even had his seventh birthday party here, and it was amazing! The kids played dodge ball and other games, learned about kicks and punches, and even broke boards. Master Daniel did such a good job keeping the kids well-behaved and happy. There was plenty of room for lots of party attendees and space for food and presents in the foyer. As parents we were able to just look on and laugh as while our kids thoroughly enjoyed the party. And all the kids, younger and older, were all smiles all the time. Even after it was over, the party was the talk of the first grade for weeks.
