Brazilian guitarist and singer Moises Borges lives in Cleveland OH for two decades, he provides live Brazilian music, mainly Samba and Bossa Nova to public concerts and private events. Either solo or up to a 12 piece band Moises can play soft Bossa Nova for the cocktail hour/dinner, or also up-tempo for the dancing time, mixing his Brazilian and American musicians in the band for a multicultural music and dance floor time.

What do you love most about your job?
What I like the most about my job is the ability to bring joy through music to the communities and events. I am always very happy behind the microphone and I love to interact with the audience if the occasion fits it. The happy tunes I chose to play keeps the moods enjoyable for all ages.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I got inspired to play live Brazilian music as a way to keep in touch with my roots and still have fun with the music that I love, plus I can share it with the people around me and enjoy it at the same time, so it does not feel like I am working haha.

I can provide my services online or remotely. I have done that several times, sometimes me and the clients are too far away or there is a contamination contingency. We would do it live through Zoom on video camera online. It usually happens as a present for someone in a special date like a birthday or wedding, also for companies on lunch time for online workers.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Me, my band and crew we are all vaccinated. During the strange times of the pandemics we made sure we were safe to continue making music, mostly online, and followed all the rules and suggestions make by the State of Ohio by getting the vaccines, wearing a mask, avoiding playing in closed places.

Moises provides Live Brazilian music for public concerts or private events, either solo or with his band.
Cocktail and dinner hours for weddings usually takes a solo musician, but some clients prefere the quartet, which includes bass, drums and usually a saxophone in addition to Moises on guitar and vocals.
Transportation, Sound equipment and operator are included in the quotes.
