I booked Marcel using Bark.com for a private, outdoor event and I am SO grateful this website led me to him!! Marcel is TOP NOTCH when it comes to performance, sound, and reading the room.
He does have a full band, but also offers solo acoustic gigs which was exactly what I was looking for at this event.
He was extremely communicative from the moment we first spoke up until event day which I really appreciated. He was prompt and on time, and came with everything he needed (including lots of extensions cords) to make sure he was all set up to perform outdoors. He also offers the ability to literally create your own playlist or allow guests to choose songs they want to hear during his performance. How cool!
The terrain wasn't the best at this event, but Marcel didn't fret one bit and set himself up where he knew would make the most sense for these circumstances and just had the best attitude and energy the entire night. As I mentioned, this was outdoors, and it was in the evening so it was COLD, but Marcel happily played through until the end, engaged with the crowd just enough, and kept the volume to a perfect level.
