We left messages for three local event planners and Linda was the only one who returned our call. Â She met up with us right away and helped us pull together the pieces of our son's wedding. Â She finalized the vision and was our go to person on the day of, from start to finish, so we could all relax and enjoy the wedding. We used her servers and bartender and she provided some delicious appetizers to accompany the catered buffet. I used "Life Of The Party" to cater my husband 75th birthday party. Linda Kirby was our hostess and she did an outstanding job. She came to the house a couple weeks before the event to decide where she should set up the food, the bar, etc. she was punctual and very professional both time she came to the house. She made sure that our guest were well taken care of throughout the entire party. She was there for six hours and she left the kitchen, family room and patio absolutely spotless when she left. We recently used Life of the Party's services for a reception for a fundraising event. Â The bartender's name was Shannon and she was extremely professional and gracious to all the guests. Â From the time she arrived until she left she got things set up and looked for any opportunity to be helpful and figured out what needed to be done. Â Â I would definitely look to Life of the Party for services in the future. I live in Newport Beach, and I recently used this service (6/14/09). Â First of all, they were professional from first contact through last contact. Â And they dress to your discretion (I choose basic black on black). Â Secondly, they tailor their offering to your needs. Â I like to cook for my parties, so all I need are servers. And they offer that. Â Also, I am not very good at directing - I tend to expect people to figure out what needs to be done and just do it. Â The gal they sent me - she not only did this, but when our scheduling went awry, she hung in there with never a complaint. Â You would have thought she was the hostess, she was so attentive to everyone's needs all the way to the very end - and it was a lot of work! Â Prices are reasonable, service is excellent.
