I cannot recommend KMTA highly enough! The coaches are professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and know how to help you become the best you. I am currently recovering from my second cranial surgery this year... and the team has been supportive with my membership. The only reason I mention this is because I think it's important how people treat each other especially when things get hard. I hope I can return one day because KMTA is a family not just a gym. Hey there Yelp readers, Â Â So I basically started my journey with a three month Summer membership and here I am almost 7 years later. ... and by far the best decision I have ever made! And because of my training here with KMTA and with highly skilled instructors, I am able to be more aware of my surroundings and able to react to the unexpected! Krav maga is a universal martial art, taught to both genders male/female, any size, height, age, etc ! There is no discrimination when it comes to an assault, or a domestic case! In this modern world of equal opportunity there are some who are finally realizing one very important fact. Everyone deserves the joy of leaving an attacker exhausted, dumbfounded and bewildered. ! Some date sight creep, street corner thug or bar seen beast thinking they found something easy to chew on. Only to wind up getting sore Southern.... missing chic-lets... or some kinda nasty limps given like door prizes.!! KMTA is my go too place to remember,.... walk tall, watch peoples hands, block a punch by not being in front of it and have fun. Instructors are great. Students are great. Curriculum is great. Not once have I walked out of there not feeling like I didn't have a good workout, learned something and had a couple laughs doing it.

I was totally new to Krav a year ago, and I'll never forget my intro class. At the end, the instructor told us to be proud we even had the guts to walk through the door. You never know what you're going to find at a place that teaches self-defense or martial arts, but I can tell you this place is worth getting up the courage to give it a try. The facility is well-equipped, the instructors are all top-notch and the community is caring and wants to see everyone succeed. You'll learn a lot and have a great time doing it. Krav increases your awareness and ability to protect yourself in real life situations and KMTA has the absolute best instructors around. Want to learn to defend yourself and your family? This is the place to do it. There is no arrogance here: beginner, experienced, male, female, young, old we are all here to hone our skills and the instructors and fellow students are all so humble and respectful. As a female it can be awkward to enter some martial arts or self defense venues but that is 100% not the case at KMTA. We hit hard, we laugh hard and we go home safe (and in better shape!). I began my journey into Krav Maga this year. The instructors are great, there is no yelling or belittling, if you are not doing a technique properly, they will take time to work with you and help you get it right while staying positive. The other trainees are just as great, everyone is respectful of one another, there are no big egos to contend with. It is a very welcoming g environment.
