Jill donated her time one Xmas to take numerous pictures of homeless dogs at our local shelter. The pictures turned out fantastic and captured each individual dog's personality, helping gain them some much-needed exposure from potential adopters.

Jill took our engagement photos and was amazing! I'm not usually comfortable in front of the camera but she made me feel at ease. She also incorporated our dogs into our photos and was so good with them. I can't wait to complete my maternity photos with her in the near future and look forward to using her for many projects in the future! More...

Jill's personality is down-to-earth, upbeat, and she radiates positivity which I think was one of the biggest draws for choosing her as our photographer; she makes you feel comfortable as if you were part of the family and she makes herself happily accessible. My husband and I actually had fun getting our photos taken. She has a knack with not only people but animals as well; she can capture the tiniest moments and make them look fantastic in a photo. I wished we still lived closer because she'd be our go to gal for snapping pics of our new little one on the way. Simply put-You can't go wrong with choosing her as your photographer. More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The best way to get great photos is to help clients feel comfortable in front of the camera while providing light directions. Too much direction can lead to looking overly posed and awkward. I want to capture the people I photograph in the most natural way possible. That's always my goal.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Have they ever hired a professional photographer before? Do they have a vision with our session that I should be aware of?
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting and collaborating with new people is always exciting, and I love just having fun with my clients during shoots! Taking pictures can be silly and playful, and I hope my clients feel like they're just hanging out with a friend when we work together.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to start taking pictures professionally because I love giving people keepsakes from a special time in their lives -- whether it's their engagement, welcoming their first child together, or their senior picture from high school. Making people happy is at the heart of why I do what I do.
Why should our clients choose you?
My down-to-earth and friendly personality helps my clients feel comfortable. My turn-time is quick, and I'm not overpriced.
