What do you love most about your job?
My strength is connecting with people through music. My specialty is being able to play all kinds of genres. I have a big background in also theater and performing. I also went to the Second City Conservatory. I studied opera in college and because a jazz singer in Chicago for 15 years, so my music is eclectic and hits every demographic. Making those personal connections with my audience is extremely important to me. I can equally be quiet and sing in the corner.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been performing for many years. I manage a lot of different talented musicians that place with me, depending on the genre, demographic, location and circumstance. I have had agents in the past and I still do use them occasionally, but I like to be in control of my whole big picture and make sure my clients get to personally work with me as a team.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am unique, extremely experienced and professional. I am low drama. I am picky about the musicians I work with and I can honestly say, I have never had anyone not be thrilled with a performance. I am also married to an amazing DJ, so that's a perk. We do a lot of weddings and private events, with packages mixing live and DJ music for a really cool and unique experience. Who doesn't want live music and then later dance their face off?

I can do live steam concerts. I was actually written up in the Chicago Tribune about my shows. We have a studio in our home built for it.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Lots of online concerts during lockdown. I let the customers tell me what they want, as far as masking and protection. I respect all sides of personal Covid protection viewpoints. I am double vaxxed and boostered as well as all of my musicians.
Wedding Music
Heather Moran can provide individual services for weddings, such as ceremony, cocktail and even up to first dance songs. These can be combined in packages. She also has a full specialty band that can also do specialty cocktail/dinner hours.
Private Events
Weddings, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, private dinners, holiday parties, retirement parties, celebration of life events, funerals...
Corporate Events
I have years of corporate party experience. I can bring in a quiet duo for background music, add a percussionist for a bigger sound and more musically interactive experience and I also have a full bad. just depends on you budget and needs. Can also make a DJ package if you want to start the night more mellow with some quiet live music, then pick it up with a DJ.
Venue/Restaurant/Bar Appearances
I am happy to play at your venue if you are in the Lake County area. We also do North Wisconsin. Chicagoland area is an option, but our pricing is a bit higher. We are equally at home making pretty music in the corner, as well as playing at your outside setting at your venue. I can also supply a full band, complete with horns if you are looking for a bigger musical experience.
Festival Appearances
I have performed in many festivals over the years, as part of a smaller duo/trio scenario or my full band. I love working a crowd.
