This is the only reason I'm grateful to live in Hemet. This is a great place to train! Omar is a professional, knowledgeable, expert in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Hemet is so lucky to have a world champion like Omar. We put our son in Jiu-Jitsu to build his strength, balance, and self-esteem. This is a excellent dojo. I brought my girl scout troop here, and they did an amazing presentation. With a few basic self defense lessons, and a very patient attitude for the young ones. Absolutely wonderful!!! Training is professional, customer service is perfect. The studio is so inviting AND everyone who trains here are friendly and welcome you! A few quick notes for those interested in joining Gracie Hemet Jiu Jitsu Academy. Wether you are looking for self defense, competition Jiu Jitsu ,Muay Thai, or mixed marshal arts training they have well trained instructors at every level. My sons joined Gracie Hemet Jiu Jitsu Academy in November 2011. Since that time we have seen improvement in all areas of their lives naming a few are respect, self confidence, their thriving in their academics and many new friends. Seeing all the improvements in my sons it encouraged me to join 6 months later. My wife joined 3 mos. after she had our youngest son. It eases my mind to know that my family could protect them selves if need be. Our family is extremely grateful that professor Adam Figurski has brought such a unique art as Gracie Jiu Jitsu to the Hemet Valley. We would like to thank you for the summer program our sons attended they loved it and learned to have fun and at the same time to respect others. In November 2012 one of the schools instructors took time off from there job to coach myself , my 2 sons, and 2 other boys at a competition in Las Vegas. I've never had any problems with Gracie Hemet Jiu Jitsu Academy. I've been a student for a year now, and enjoy every bit of it. The thing I enjoy the most is watching the kids class. It so interesting how will these kids understand the concept of Jiu Jitsu and better yet apply it while sparring. There are all kinds of students that enrolls here. We have students that are here strictly for self defense, students for who are in competition level, students who are in MMA, students who are interested in health and fitness, plus many more. Adam Figurski is a great professor. He never looks down on anyone and he has a huge understanding of everyones goals on the mat. Professor Adam also started a Bully Program that was highly effective and fun for the kids during the summer. Hi my name is Janey and I am very proud to say I have a grown son,daughter in law and 2 grandsons that are students at Gracie Hemet under professor Adam. I am delighted and extremely overwhelmed with the difference it has made in my families lives ,its exciting! I have been to many classes and competitions with my family and professor Adam has ALWAYS been encouraging to the students and very pleasant to family members. I am not an expert in this by no means but I do know what I see and hear and its always positive! He teaches in a positive manner and wonderful attributes have blossomed in my family. My oldest grandson makes As and Bs in school and my youngest grandson also does well in school and has come out of his shell! As for my son and his beautiful wife it has put a new excitement and vigor in their lives! Increased self esteem , confidence, self control, the health benefits are two many to name its surreal! All these attributes are because of a dedicated, genuine and sincere coach. There will always be differences of opinions because we are different individuals. In my opinion it is very sad for one to try and ruin the reputation of an individual or a school that has brought so much to many. I believe that things can always work out and resolution can come forward to any situation but slander is not a way to get there. Thank you professor Adam for enriching our lives you are a blessing .
