Gratefully I was introduced to Young Shig Oh, L,Ac., M.S. through Kaiser Permanente's link to American Specialty Health. For over eight months I'd been suffering, having been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). Prior I was utilizing mostly the traditional methods toward recovery, like physical therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and medicines. My KP pain management doctor added acupuncture as an additional option. Within two visits to Young Shig Oh (aka Peter Young) at the Bernardo West Chiropractic location, I quit using a cane. He helped my body's nervous system calm down enough to reduce tremors/seizures/TICS and to-date, they're almost nonexistent. He's treated my neck and lower back pain. My ability to think more clearly as well as walk with my head/neck held upright is so refreshing. Young is kind, even a somewhat selfless professional who minus a slight language deficit does his best to hear what's happening with you, and then addresses the best protocol to deliver what's best for the patient to get results. He has used acupuncture, acupressure, cupping, and massage to help me. I am grateful to be resuming a super, physically and mentally active lifestyle thanks to Young Shig Oh which means I can give his practice a powerful positive review. I was introduced this clinic by my coach when I sprained my ankle. Peter has excellent acupuncture and acupressure therapy technique and has been able to treat my ankle sprain, shoulder cuff and back muscle pain quickly and effectively. My first experience with acupuncture and I am blown away at how fast the treatment has helped. I had injured my hand from work, I am a tailor and I couldn't move my fingers. After my first treatment I was able to move my fingers easily with no pain! I had my second treatment the next day and am again very amazed with the results he focused on my neck and arm pain and it's almost gone. I recommend strongly. More...
