The food was so fresh and delicious! It is high quality food but you order through a window off the drag in Venice beach. There are small tables outside but no indoor dining facilities.

It was OK. I love that the man who makes the food owns this cute little spot. The first time I ate there the pasta (forgot the name of it) tasted like uncooked dough balls. The second time my pasta tasted blah. I love pasta so much but the doctor said I should stay away from carbs. So I probably won't be here anytime soon. Oh and the complimentary bread had way to much salt on it. Another thing my doctor said to limit. But the owner is very friendly and I hope others who love it come back and keep him in business!P.S. The owner said to try again, and you what I will with a tomato and basil dish. I'm sure he will accommodate me. More...

This place is a true hidden gem. The owner, Fabio, is "100 percento Italiano", as he told me, and the food is "100 percento" delicious! I love that the menu is easy to read and simple - there's a wide range of combinations one could choose - and the two that I chose recently were wonderful. The fettuccine with meat sauce & ravioli with mushroom sauce were the perfect portion, temperature, flavor, and, very importantly, texture. This place is quite literally a hole-in-the-wall, but it is not to be overlooked. Located right along Venice Beach, it is a wonderful place to stop and enjoy a plate of pasta by the ocean! My partner and I ate there and received excellent service and even better food. The pasta was absolutely delicious, it tasted completely homemade and the meat sauce was scrumptious! Wow wow wow where do I even begin?I've lived in la my entire life and Italian is my favorite guilty pleasure.. Just moved to the beach here in Venice and stumbled upon this little window in the wall. I ordered the spicy sauce with fusili and it blew me away. The pasta is homemade and cooked to perfection. The foccacia is out of this world.Cut to two weeks later and I've been coming back every day ordering the daily specials and been blown away by every thing Fabio cooks you can tell this man cooks from the heart. He remembers us everyday and what we ordered last. This is seriously the best thing I've ever come across in LA it's like a true Italian family kitchen just feet from my home.I've had all his pasta by now, there are no favorites, I'm dead serious they have all been ten out of ten each time. Decided that I had a taste for some pasta today and boy I'm so glad that I decided to go here! Super hole in the wall spot with some cute outdoor tables that you can eat at. The sauce was excellent and came with a piece of delicious focaccia bread. Tasted very authentic! The owner was the one who made the meal and checked up on me by name. Definitely will be coming back! Saltiest pasta I ever had. I almost threw up. Would've taken it back if I hadn't already driven away. I usually add salt to all my food so if I found the food salty it is truly salty. My husband though so also and he usually adds salt to his food also. More...

Fabios Pasta is the best new spot in Venice Beach.It's a take out window, a few steps away from the beach, which will catapult your taste buds in the heart of Italy! All the products are handmade by Fabio, owner and chef, who personally cooks each pasta dish on the spot. His passion for cooking transpires in every element: the sauces are authentic and mouth watering, the fresh, home made pasta makes it a whole experience. He serves each dish with a slice of perfectly baked, oily focaccia.. easily the best I have tried in LA.We had the Gnocchi alla Bolognese and the Tagliolini with Mushrooms, and it seemed almost too good to be true, to be tasting that awesomeness while watching the waves coming to shore. What’s your signature dish?
My signature dish Braised short ribs. I first beautifully seared brown the short ribs. Then I add a whole garlic head, cut in half and I season the bottom of the skillet with it. At this point I add 2 table spoon of tomato of thick tomato purée and i “Cook” it. Next the wine, a 3/4 bottle of full bodied red wine, I then let evaporate the alcohol part. Lastly the the stock, beef is great chicken is good too. I then bring to boil, once at boiling point i cover it with aluminum foil and proceed to cook in a preheated oven at 350f for 2 1/2 hours. Once cooked served the beautiful short ribs with some mint and parsley.
