I attended a Self Defense class today and it was great! It was my first time EVER taking such a class and although I was excited, I had no idea what I was doing. The instructors were VERY patient, thorough, & effective in their explanations & implementations of the moves in order for me to feel comfortable & see some improvement in just a few attempts! The Edge Training Center is a great place to learn defense, fitness,fun and meet great people. My son has been a student since the doors opened, and, being no stranger to Martial Arts he hit the ground running and never looked back. They offer Jitz, KickBoxing,MMA,Yoga, Full contact and light contact and most of all, a welcoming, friendly open-door culture that is non-intimidating and positive vibes that is noticeable as soon as you walk in. I stopped by this gym to buy a gi they were selling through Craiglist. The mat space is nice, clean and everyone there is very friendly. The instructor Vernie is legit - Gracie humaita black belt.
