Vicki and her team have created a workout environment at DuxFit that is truly exceptional. I recently completed the 6 week challenge and it was a blast. Yes, I said it it was actually fun working out. I lost 20.5 pounds and 4.5% boxy fat. A combination of the meal plan they design for you and the different, creative workouts we did made it all possible. Thank you Duxbury Fitness for this recent six week challenge. I'm a day and a half from my final weigh in but I can provide a great review already. In the previous six weeks, I've accomplished so much...more than an almost 20lb weight loss (final amount to be determined). The diet plan has helped me kick my carb habit and forced me to get creative with spices and healthy recipes. I've also developed muscle definition that I've always wanted but never reached and I see the potential for further strength development. The trainers were knowledgeable and encouraging and I loved that the small classes allow for personal instruction/guidance when needed. I love the group classes; the trainers and other members keep you motivated and pushing through each class. I don't even mind getting up at 5:30am to get to my preferred classes. I just completed the 6 week challenge at Duxbury Fitness. A total game changer! In the past, I have tried to eat healthy and workout on my own, but after a few weeks I would return to bad habits. Vicki and her team are excellent. They motivate, educate, encourage and answer any question at any hour of the day. The program consists of small group training, a meal plan and the tools necessary to live a healthier lifestyle. The trainers and other members of the gym are truly a community that motivate each other, share recipes and pick each other up in weak moments. The classes and trainers are amazing. In six weeks, I never did the same workout! So much easier to see gains and stay motivated when each workout is unique. The trainers work with you based on your abilities and can modify the workout to ensure you are safe and healthy. I love this place. My husband and I just finished the 6 week challenge. My husband lost 19lbs and I lost 11 and 6.3% bodyfat. In 6 Weeks!!!!!!! There was so much support in that gym. They provide you with all the information and tools you need to navigate the everyday hurdles of nutrition; crazy work schedules, travel, and those that are always "on the go." The group training is intense and provides an atmosphere of comraderi and community.

I have been with this gym for almost 10 months. Vicki is a great trainer and is very positive and encouraging. She has helped be reach my goals and set new ones.
I have also had the pleasure of working with several other trainers who have pushed me to help me grow stronger and keep me honest and accountable.
The gym itself has great equipment and has everything you need for strength, cardio and even outside facilities for dynamic ninja type workouts. Plus I love to be able to go for a run along the neighborhood on nice days after lifting.

Just completed the 6-week challenge myself and having had athletics to lean on ALWAYS to keep my weight at bay, this was so effective at changing my eating habits for post-college everyday eating.
I cannot recommend this program enough to those who are looking to get a stubborn 10-20 lbs off, or build some muscle. In 6 weeks I lost 17lbs and 6% body fat. It was seriously the perfect boost. The clients and trainers make up an exceptional culture that you just want to be around and look forward to seeing every day.

Today marked the end of my 6 week Challenge at Duxbury Fit and I am so happy with the results. I accomplished so many personal goals as well as met the goal of the program. I am down 16.5 pounds and 9.6% body fat. I lost inches off my waist and thighs and feel SO good. The workouts were tough but effective. The food and diet required prep and thought but once I was into a routine, It was easy and I was content with what I could eat. I participated in the 6-Week Challenge at Duxbury Fitness. I lost 22 lbs and almost 5% body fat! I received a meal plan that was VERY easy to follow, with delicious recipes. Anytime my challenge group had questions, they were answered right away on the Facebook page.
