They take great care of our two Goldens and I never worry about them while they are in their care. Cayce regularly communicates with us and even sends photos of the dogs. If you have been looking for someone to love your dog while you are away, you have found the right place. I am happy to recommend Doggy Strides with highest confidence. Cayce has taken care of my 12 year old rescue dog several times in 2018, including overnights and daily dog walks. Cayce provides the highest level of service in the industry, from my experience. And it is so nice to know that our little Kiki is so well cared for. Kiki has trouble seeing, and has a special diet, and is just a little bit anxious when we leave. I need to be sure that Kiki is loved when we are away, because Kiki is a rescue and needs extra love. Cayce is that person! I also feel very comfortable having Cayce and her staff in my home when we need a dog walk during the day. Cayce is very good at hiring. When I went to London this year for 2 weeks, I was so happy knowing Cayce and her staff were taking care of Kiki. Dog parents know there is not much better than going out of town for a much needed break and knowing that your fur kids are well cared for and happy. When we moved to the suburbs after several years in the city, I was extremely lucky to find Cayce and Doggie Strides right away. Cayce just gets it. She clearly loves animals and knows that each one is unique. I have a senior Havanese that needs a little TLC and 2 puppies – one Labradoodle and one mini poodle that have a lot of energy. Cayce is able to take all 3 of them and give them each the attention, play time and snuggles that makes them feel at home! She is also able to modify plans for me on the fly. For example, for short trips she’d been boarding my puppies and visiting my senior at our home throughout the day. For a recent longer trip though, she accommodated my senior in her home – in her own human guest room! It was exactly what my Lily needed, and I felt more than comfortable taking a long trip knowing that my pups would be comfortable and well cared for. She is also great and sending photo updates daily so I never have to wonder.On occasion, one of the staff other than Cayce has cared for my dogs and those times have been at the same high standard of care. Cayce and her team at Doggy Strides are absolutely wonderful! We are regular clients for both boarding and pet sitting - and we highly recommend these services to anyone that truly wants the best care for your precious furry family members. Cayce is literally a "dog whisperer" as she was able to calm our very anxious, fearful, 13 year old Black Lab - Ben and made him feel at home each time he was boarded. We were never able to travel for long periods of time until we met Cayce. Needless to say, she and her husband Ken became Ben's best friends when we were away! She also provided the best in-home pet sitting care we have ever had for our three cats - Simon, Clare and Joe. We absolutely love Doggy Strides! We just couldn't say enough great things about the incredible services! We loved getting frequent photos and updates, as it gave us a huge peace of mind. My family and I absolutely love Cayce and Doggy Strides! When we first met Cayce, our dog Bailey instantly fell for her. You can tell she has a love for all animals, so I never had a worry when Cayce was with mine. What do you love most about your job?
This is my DREAM job --- There is not a day that goes by when I don't walk down the street with leash after leash in my hand from visiting my daily walking clients or having a dog hop into my lap as I'm pet sitting and about to watch a Netflix show while cuddling with them, that I don't have the biggest smile planted on my face. I think to myself "this is what life's all about." It is my compassion to pour warmth and love over your pet in the same way I would my own. There is nothing better than seeing a happy tail wag or hearing that purr of content!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My friends and family have always referred to me as the "dog whisperer." I have a calming effect over animals with my warm and welcoming presence. I have an affinity and love for all animals and feel like they know I am truly excited to see them. I gain their trust when they can see how much I enjoy taking the time to care for them. I have been raised around animals my whole life and the happiness I find in spending with them is what led me to create "Doggy Strides."
Why should our clients choose you?
As you might have already picked up on, I am a warm and cheerful person who puts thought into everything. You will find me easy to work with and sincere in my communication. I will never leave you wondering about how my times with your pet are going --- I love to personalize each visit with through updates and there are usually always photo ops! Most importantly, your pet will sense they are loved and cared for on my watch. When there is an initial meet and greet, let's be honest, the pet does the hiring.. ;)
Doggy Walks
These are pre-arranged daily or scheduled visits to your home for morning, mid-day, or evening potty relief for your pet. The sessions can be set for 15, 30, 45, or 1 hour intervals. Each Session includes a walk, playtime, water and food refill (if needed), medication administration (if needed), and of course plenty of ear scratches & belly rubs. Pet Sitting Visits
