Michelle has been an incredible resource for me as I have taken on building up my endurance for running long distance. With Michelle's help, I have run three marathons in under three years. She's a running coach and a fitness coach. I've experienced the best personal fitness results of my life by working out with her. I love Michelle! She is super encouraging and extremely knowledgeable in everything running, fitness, and diet! With her guidance I've gotten off the treadmill and now run outside. Michelle was an awesome coach! After one session my form had improved exponentially. Michelle has so much experience as both a runner and a coach she could answer every question and adress every concern I had, from form to pace to mentality. You can tell that coaching is not just a job, but a passion for Michelle; she carried my session 30 minutes over the original time with no additional cost because she wanted to make sure I understood the exercises she was showing me. Michelle is fabulous! I needed someone who was both encouraging and would practically force me to do things out of the box or my comfort zone. 1) Consistency- repeat healthy behaviors
2) Resilience-don’t give up if you give into temptation; pick yourself back up and get on track quickly

There’s nothing more gratifying than to see your client get jazzed about the journey of change, overcoming set-backs, and hungry for setting another goal after reaching the original one. I also love seeing the growth and how rewarding it is to make such a positive difference in the life of another, knowing that you are helping someone transform a lifestyle into a healthier one.

I was overweight as a youth even though I participated in many sports, and it left me with low self-esteem, poor body image, and depressed. That’s when I realized something had to change. It first started with my eating habits, and after doing extensive research, I made better nutritional choices such as eating more fruits and vegetables, cutting out most carbs and reduced my intake of alcohol. The weight started poring off. Next, I started running daily, (competed in over 100 races), and doing that enabled me to lose over 50 pounds, The weight has stayed off every since. That was 34 years ago. Fourteen years ago , I started coaching running and incorporating strength and conditioning into the training to youth, then moved onto working with adults. Several years ago, I decided to get my Personal Training certification through American Council of Exercise.

I have such a passion for living a healthy lifestyle and want to transfer that onto others who desire the same thing. This is done through support clients in creating attainable goals, providing guidance along the way and encouraging healthy and lasting behavior change.

In my backyard gym - up to three due to COVID 19-masks and gloves worn at all times plus each person is 12 feet away from others

Each session is Individualized based on needs; modifications in place.
