I cannot recommend Ace Pet services enough. Louis and Stephanie have been a dream come true for us and our crazy little monster dog. Our dog LOVES them, and is always so happy when we drop her off and tired and well behaved when we pick her up. Not only are they the only place we feel comfortable and confident leaving our dog for both short weekend getaways and long boarding stays, we've also been working directly with Louis in private training sessions and have seen incredible progress with our dog - and our dog is not easy! Reactivity, barrier frustration, a low trigger threshold, and TONS of energy all combine to make our dog a real... challenge :) But Louis works with her during her stays with him, and combining that with our in person sessions at home has honestly changed our relationship with and understanding of our dog. We had an amazing experience leaving our pup with Louis. As we are new to Colorado, we don't know of many places for boarding dogs, so we did our research! Our puppy is part of our family so we wanted to make sure he was in good hands while we were gone. After spending hours researching, we came across some good places that had good reviews but they were facilities and nothing more. We wanted a place that would feel like home for our little pup. After reading reviews (and loving what we read) and looking at Louis' website, we called him and he made availability to meet us and our pup that same day! He and his wife board the dogs at their home and treat the dogs as if they were their own. He followed our routines for our pup (feeding time and bedtime) and sent tons of pictures and videos!! I forgot to mention, Louis is a dog trainer and worked with our pup which was included in the boarding fee! We couldn’t be happier with this service. We were looking for a new place to take our dog to give him a little more stimulation and ‘home feel’ than a regular boarder when having to leave town. Louis and Stephanie are so professional, organized and excellent with communicating. They treated our dog like he was one of there own. Louis does daily training to help with engagement, walks and supervised play time with the other dogs. He also texts you pictures and updates daily. We are the people that don’t really like leaving our dog if possible, and this really made all the difference in being able to fully relax on a vacation knowing he was happy at Ace. Louis and Stephanie are the best. They welcome our dog into their home and care for him as if he were their own. He gets all sorts of training both alone and with other dogs every day. Recently he’s been learning to play Treiball and loving it. I know this because we get videos daily of his training and pics of him hanging out with Stephanie in the office. Ace Pet Services has been our go to for training and dog care for our little herder Nox. Not only do they take wonderful care of our Corgi, they use special techniques to train him and make sure to keep us very up to date. Though he is only 10 months old, he's further along than any other dog we've owned, thanks in no small part to Ace Pet Services. I can always leave my pups with Ace Pet in confidence and peace knowing the dogs are happy and well taken care of. Lou is great at knowing how to meet the dogs’ needs while balancing owner expectations. The dogs participate in supervised play, individual training, group walks, and even field trips to swim. This doggie day care is like no other, absolutely top notch and extreme value for what you and your dog will experience. The two owners are amazing at communicating with pet owners, there is a lot of evaluation and feedback with every visit and they pride themselves on providing a safe, stimulating, and energized experience for your dog. I trust Lou to care for my pup no question and Steph has been great at the administrative communication. My dog has also spent time with their apprentice Kendra who is great too. They give feedback not only on how she did that day playing but also skills that we can work on at home and also how to integrate with her formal training classes with Namastay. There is not enough space to say how much I love this place and hope they continue to provide such personal service. Louis and Stephanie have provided hands-down the best boarding experiences for my dogs Daisy and Mr. Tumnus. They are so open about what happens during their stay, and they are especially great about assessing each dog's favorite activities and incorporating them into their boarding experience. My updates of Mr. Tumnus usually show him playing with the other dogs and training, while Daisy's updates show her cuddling with Louis and Stephanie - based on the photos I receive, it looks like they are part of the family. Moreover, they do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns, which puts my mind at ease. My dogs have started getting excited when we pull into the driveway and hardly look back as they run into the house to play. Louis has been caring for our dog Friday since way long ago. Absolutely love the care he provides. Our pup is always so tired from all the awesome exercise after his stays. He takes our dog to Home Depot around Halloween to get used to decorations, etc. he works on whatever obedience that our pup needs to brush up on. Always clean when we get him back too! We just rescued our puppy, Thumper, in October and were nervous to leave him for a long weekend so we could go to a wedding in FL. I researched every option you could imagine (daycare/boarding, in-home sitter, etc) and found a recommendation for Louis on the Nextdoor app. Thumper is a kind, sweet puppy but he is shy and does not respond to any negative reaction so teaching him right from wrong can be a challenge. Our Day School and Play program is a perfect option for people who are looking for help with training or for those looking for a fun filled and enriching option for your pup.
The pups day is filled with:
* Tutoring - one on one training
* Class - group training
* Recess - structured and supervised play throughout the day so they can maintain and work on their dog to dog social skills
* Field trips - Our team and your pup will be going out to work on their skills in practical every day distracting environments. Whether it's a trip to the park to work on coming when called or practicing polite greetings at Home Depot, the possibilities are endless.
Our Day School and Play sets itself apart by designing and implementing a custom training program for your pup. Prior to your pup's first day at school we will review your dog's training and overall history as well as discuss what you are looking to accomplish. Timelines and goals keep everything organized and ensure you meet your training goals.
Depending on your location pick up and drop off can be included for an additional fee. Day School is offered Monday - Friday based on availability with drop offs between 6:30 - 8:30 am and pick ups between 4:00 - 6:00 pm, with advance discussion those times can be flexible.
The skills your pup acquires during their time at school will carry over allowing them to be more confident and do more with you! Not only will your pup come home exhausted and content, our Day School and Play prides itself on designing and completing your on going training goals each week!
In Home Boarding
Our boarding philosophy comes from a training perspective.
Louis Magniccari, the co - owner of APS and a professional dog trainer for the past 8 years, has used his knowledge and experience with dogs to create the most enriching environment for the dogs that board with APS. We make sure that every dog in our care is doing the activities they enjoy. Whether that's playing with their puppy friends, training, being challenged with an interactive toy or puzzle, going for walks to explore the neighborhood or just relaxing, no two experiences will be the same.
What is In-Home Style Boarding?
In-Home Style Boarding means that when pups come to stay with us they essentially become our dogs. We send you a questionnaire to get a snapshot of your pup's regular routine. We then recreate it as close as possible, while adding group training, walks, playtime with the other pups and relaxing when necessary.

* One walk per day to explore the neighborhood's sights, smells and sounds!

Do you have more than one furry family member? No worries! Your second dog from the same household can stay for $55.00 per night.
More than two pups? No problem please contact us directly for a custom price.
Leaving your pup with us for more than 10 nights - GREAT! we offer a length of stay discount of 10% off the total stay for 10 nights plus.
