1024 Events & Productions

We hired 1024 Productions as the DJ for our wedding based on Yelp reviews, and Yelp fam, you did not disappoint. Trey from 1024 absolutely made our wedding a success, hands down. From the very first point of contact with 1024 when getting a quote to literally the seconds before my bouquet toss when Trey found my flowers and handed them to me himself, the folks at 1024 were professional, responsive (even responding late on a Saturday night in the lead up to the big day!), highly organized and energetic. You can tell they care, and they are committed to being the very best. I even found out from my wedding venue that Trey scoped out the scene the day before!

And, most importantly, the actual music itself was amazing - guests never left the dance floor and there was never a lull in the music or atmosphere, and never a bad pick. Trey was able to read the crowd and keep the party going. I actually had guests approach me in the days after the wedding asking for 1024's contact info for their own events, so be expecting an email!

Plus, the price was completely on par with other DJs in the area (and I got a lot of quotes).

Mike (1024 Productions) was absolutely amazing, from the minute I reached out to him via email he always responded back within minutes, regardless of what day or time it was. He was always available to discuss all the important details, and the online planning portal he has is suuuuper helpful and made everything run smoothly. We also booked the Photo Booth with him and my guests had such a great time, even the quality of the pictures were amazing and he sends a link with all of the pictures after within a few days which was so fun to look at. Ours was an open Photo Booth with a bunch of hilarious props which made it even funner. As the DJ, he was outstanding, in the portal I picked all my songs but let him know I was leaving it open for him to play what he felt best fit the party and the mood and he did not disappoint. We knew we had found our DJ within the first 5 minutes of speaking to Mike during our initial consult. From the beginning he was nothing but professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. During our many months of planning, we asked Mike many questions, and it was amazing how quickly he responded to each and every one – making us feel like we were his most important client. Mike took the time to meet with us at our venue a couple months before our wedding, something we very much appreciated.

The web site offered by 1024 Productions is fantastic, and was a major selling point for us from the beginning. It offers a huge library of songs from which to choose, allows you to categorize and prioritize them and attach notes, and allows you to enter all the details and timelines for your wedding from start to finish – ensuring that the DJ is fully prepared and aware of what’s going on. Our wedding featured a lot of customized music – both in the selections we made and the special versions of songs we created for dances, etc. Mike made it really simple to for us send him our custom songs and everything was played exactly as we outlined, making for a very special and memorable evening. Our first dance was a “mashup” of various songs, and Mike did a great job helping us pull it off.

Many of our guests commented to us during and after the wedding how great our DJ was, and how much fun they had. There were a number of times during the evening that Mike came to us, often with our wedding coordinator, to offer suggestions in terms of timing of planned activities or to keep us informed of developments. We felt completely at ease during the whole evening knowing that Mike was truly the “master of ceremonies” and managing things behind the scenes.

We hired Mike with 1020 for our wedding and he did an amazing job! The online system he uses to organize your event makes it such an easy process. He even thought out the songs to go with the speeches! We asked him to mix the father daughter song into two songs and he delivered perfectly. Mike at 1024 Productions was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. He was very familiar with our venue (South Coast Winery), so we had to give him almost no instructions - he just knew what to do! Even when we had to change all our plans 3 days before due to a rain forecast, he went with the flow and changed things up no problem. He has a great online system where you can input your schedule and your big song moments (first dance, father/daughter, etc). It also has tons of great suggestions (which my husband and I desperately needed as we're not really music people). Mike kept the energy going at our reception and anytime we wanted to jump to the next song, he was happy to oblige! He even played some Irish and Greek music for our big crazy family! I originally thought I wasn't going to need a DJ for my smallish sized wedding, and at the last minute I decided otherwise. I reached out to several DJs, and Mike got back to me right away with a reasonable price. I cannot tell you how glad I am that I ended up hiring a DJ and that I hired this company in particular. I was planning and coordinating my own wedding and had no idea what I was doing. Mike ended up being SO helpful!  He made the effort to contact me several times, he helped me with my wedding schedule, and he gave me a lot of guidance. He also has a really awesome website to set up all of the wedding details. There were helpful features like groupings of popular songs to choose for each event (ceremony processional, ceremony recessional, first dance, cake cutting, garter, etc.).  He wasn't the actual DJ at my wedding, but that DJ was really great too. However, Mike did a brilliant job reading the crowd, involving people with games and how to play a beat that would have everyone rushing to the dance floor. Another concern for me was that the DJ spoke Spanish for some of my family (I am Mexican) and DJ Mike had that covered too.

Mike is extremely professional and great with responding less than an hour. He is great with making sure he understands the overall vision of both bride and groom. We also used his lighting services which everyone said made it a world of difference at the venue. The monogram was an brilliant touch. Mike from 1024 made our wedding! I can not rave more about how great he is and how much he made our wedding. He was really responsive to us in the planning stages of the wedding and even drove from Temecula to Fullerton to meet with us. We had a unique vintage winery wedding but themed Star Wars. Mike and his team at 1024 Productions are great to work with. Any questions and concerns are dealt with within 24 hours. We threw last minute adjustments at Mike and there was no problem accommodating them. The pricing is very fair and not outrageous. We opted to have a 2-man team for our wedding, MC and DJ, as well as the photobooth. The photobooth was a hit and is affordable. I highly suggest the 2-man team. Mike was our MC and he always had the crowd excited for our events. 1024 as most other DJs has an online portal to make changes to timeline and music requests. We could not have found a more perfect match! DJ Lenny was awesome! We had a very diverse group of people and we’re so scared of how we could make sure everyone was having fun and Lenny hit every area and blended them seamlessly. We also had requested personal mixed songs and they worked out so perfect. I would highly recommend 1024 for any event!

Since we live in Orange County and our venue was out in Temecula it was a little bit of a drive but Mike Pearson made it super easy to coordinate everything. We were able to plan and agreed on a contract through the phone and emails. Mike was easy to reach and he answered all of our questions. They were able to do our reception in Spanish which we appreciated since the majority of our family speaks Spanish. We used 1024 Productions for our Wedding in Temecula. Mike was amazing from the start. He was super helpful, answered all questions very quickly and was helpful with ideas. My husband and I are big on music and music played such a role in our relationship that the planning process for our songs was a little hard. 1024 offers a planning website that is seriously amazing. It helps you know what to expect and gives them an idea of your personality. When the wedding day came, something came up and Mike was unable to be our DJ. He called me personally to express how sorry he was and that he was putting us in the very capable hands of Lenny. We spoke with Lenny that night and knew we would have a blast. Lenny got to the venue, set up and did his thing. He hardly needed any direction from us and he was super helpful at keeping everyone involved and on track. I am so thankful for him. Toward the end of the night we moved inside to do sort of an after hours thing. The crowd that was left were our EDM party fans and Lenny was so good at gauging the crowd that he played all of our favorites and didn't work off some pre-set list. He was super friendly! Responsive, professional, AMAZING!We had 1024 for both our DJ service and photo booth. They did such a great job. Mike was so responsive & Lenny did a great job the day of. They have a super user friendly client portal that allows you to choose songs and input details for your special day. Lenny did such a great job of feeling the crowd and making sure everyone danced the whole night away! The photo booth was one of my favorite parts of our wedding. DJ Lenny was so easy to work with and kept the dance party going strong! He provided all of the equipment for both our outdoor ceremony and our outdoor reception, despite the somewhat misty weather. He even coordinated to have my mom plug in her audio recorder to his sound system so we could make sure we got the audio from the ceremony. Mike at 1024 Productions is awesome! So nice and very timely in all communications! We used 1024 Productions for ceremony and reception music, Photo Booth, and uplighting for the reception. Everything went perfectly. There is a portal you can use to add any music you want, including Youtube clips which they will start and stop when you want. This was super helpful, as I wanted specific portions of songs for walking down the aisle and first dance. Mike was great as a DJ - the crowd was dancing all night. Photo Booth set up was great. I live in NJ and had my wedding in California, which I thought how am I going to find a perfect DJ being 3000 miles away. For our wedding we had gone through 1024 productions for our officiant, DJ, photo booth and photographer and I am so glad that I did.  Not only was the price for all of these services reasonable, but the service that they provide is amazing. Mike was wonderful throughout, despite the major hiccups that were happening on the day of our wedding and came up with solutions the venue could not provide.  I highly recommend them as they are there beside you to make sure everything goes smoothly and take the stress away from you on the day of your event.  They interact with your party very well, as both of our families love humor he tailored the ceremony and reception to be humorous and he also guides you through every step of the way.  If I had any other event to plan I would definitely use Mike and his crew again. 1024 event & productions made planning the music for my ceremony and reception easy and stress free! Mike from 1024 was our DJ and I was very pleased with his help and performance. He was helpful with providing me his opinion on things I was unsure about or had no experience with (considering I had never planned a wedding nor music for a wedding before) and the day of the wedding he did a phenomenal job with the music. Tom was the DJ at our wedding last night, he did such a fantastic job! We are so very happy with how the night turned out. 1024 Productions did any absolute Amazing job for our wedding! Everything went better than planned and we could not be happier. Mike and his team bent over backwards to ensure our satisfaction. When the end of the night started approaching, the dance floor was still packed with people. We used Mike and 1024 for our daughter's Sweet 16 birthday party in August.  We can thank him enough for all the beautiful memories that were made! !  My daughter will never forget her party.  My daughter was beyond thrilled at the transformation of our home for her glow themed pool party.  From the first phone call, Mike was easy, communicative, professional, and more importantly extremely insightful.  Teenagers are quite "finicky".  My daughter experienced a little "anxiety" the day before her party, but was quickly put at ease as she witnessed Mike and his crew transform our backyard pool area into a beautiful party area.  The dance floor, lights, music, tacos, smores were all a hit with the 70 plus teenagers.  We can not thank him enough and will definitely be using 1024 Events in the future. I first heard/saw Mike at a bridal show I attended with my mom and mother-in-law last year at Pala Casino. I believe he was hosting the show and he was doing a great job so I knew I had to look into his company for my wedding. After researching several DJ's, I decided to hire Mike & 1024 productions for our wedding. Mike was very professional from our first meeting all the way to our last. His prices are extremely fair compared to other companies/DJ's out there. In addition to being able to hire Mike as our DJ we also took advantage of getting the photo booth package which I highly recommend. Mike had a web portal that we could log into and set up every detail imaginable for our big day. This web portal included adding songs for every event (cake cutting, garter toss, first dance, sand ceremony, etc.) and giving a detailed timeline of every event (time of speeches, time of grand entrance, time of cake cutting, etc.). As somebody who is a very detailed personality, this functionality worked wonders for me. You could also make your payments thru this web portal. We were not in too much communication until the big day got closer in which Mike was great about setting up an in-person meeting and a telephone meeting. Mike is great at responding back to emails very quickly and answering any and all questions I had. The big day went as smoothly as it could and much of that was due to Mike! There was probably one error that occurred on the big day & 1 that occurred after our wedding but not big enough to mention because it was not a big deal AT ALL! Mike was better than I ever imagined! He surpassed my every expectation of a Dj. I was looking for a Dj for my son's 18th birthday/graduation swim party. I found Mike thru Yelp and contacted him based on his great reviews. I explained that my guests age would range from 70 to 10 & that I was also concerned that the teens would just sit around on their phones. He told me not to worry that he would handle all of this. He was a huge help every step of the way. He came over to check out how he would set up. He gave us suggestions on how to set up the backyard furniture and guided us on things we hadn't even thought about. He had tons of great ideas & suggestions!! The party was AMAZING, his music was perfect, everyone had tons of fun. The teens & adults all danced. He played music that everyone enjoyed! Everyone has told me it was an awesome party. I cannot say enough good things about Mike! He is absolutely the best and blew our expectations out of the water. He was the DJ/MC for our wedding in June. From day 1 until the day of the wedding he was easy to work with, professional, genuine, and extremely helpful. I knew I could email, text, or call him whenever I needed and he would be there to answer questions. His website, which has the forms on it, was easy to navigate and even had a ton of suggestions for songs when we got stumped. From the ceremony until the end of the reception Mike had everyone on their feet having a great time. He played a centerpiece game that had everyone laughing! So fun! We had several guests comment on how awesome he was throughout the night. We left music totally open for the reception and he took things to the next level. No one left the dance floor and he was great on the mic. We had a photo booth and he was great about telling people occasionally to go take pictures and even directed people throughout the buffet food process. We had a fairly small venue and his equipment was perfect. Sound quality and levels were flawless through out the night. The mics were easy to use and no one had any issues hearing anything from the ceremony to the reception. His table was small and low profile which was a nice change from a huge DJ table. Pricing was great as well. We could not have asked for a better person and DJ for our wedding! We will continue to recommend Mike to anyone who needs a DJ. From the ceremony until the end of the reception Mike had everyone on their feet having a great time. He played a centerpiece game that had everyone laughing! So fun! We had several guests comment on how awesome he was throughout the night. We left music totally open for the reception and he took things to the next level. No one left the dance floor and he was great on the mic. We had a photo booth and he was great about telling people occasionally to go take pictures and even directed people throughout the buffet food process. We had a fairly small venue and his equipment was perfect. Sound quality and levels were flawless through out the night. The mics were easy to use and no one had any issues hearing anything from the ceremony to the reception. His table was small and low profile which was a nice change from a huge DJ table. Pricing was great as well. We could not have asked for a better person and DJ for our wedding!We will continue to recommend Mike to anyone who needs a DJ. Everyone had a great time and are still saying how great music was. The DJ was interactive and very professional! The process on line made it very easy to complete what music and timeline of events .
