I love photography, and love working with people! To me photography has the potential to go beyond the mere production of pleasing images and has the power to inspire, to motivate, to lift the spirit and speak to the “soul” of the observer. I love working in a field that constantly challenges me to find the "art" in every building, interior or object I photograph!
I first found photography in 1974 as an art student in college. Since that time and upon graduation with my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from SUNY Plattsburgh, like many other young, idealistic art majors I desired to travel the world working as a National Geographic photographer! Well truth be told, Nat Geo never did come calling, and although I went on to become a Registered Architect my love of photography and travel never faded. Some 28 years later, after retiring as an Architect, I returned to photography and founded SCiraulo Photography. Although I haven't worked for National Geographic, yet... I have been fortunate to travel extensively through my photography work.
My extensive background in architecture and construction, organizational and communication skills, management experience, and resourcefulness ensure that an assignment with SCiraulo Photography will represent an excellent value and an economical solution to your unique photography needs.
