We used Your Survey for a Homebuyers Report on a property we are purchasing. We were a little reluctant to use them after reading some of the negative reviews, but the quote was considerably cheaper than any other, and we figured it was worth the risk of a delayed report. They arranged the survey swiftly, were quick to respond to emails and sent the report within the promised five working days. Very sceptical after reading the reviews on google but decided to go with them as they are the cheapest by far! Unfortunately, reviews seemed to only be left by negative people! Not sure why as I have perfect contact with the company throughout the process and the survey was completed when organised and I received it shortly after. This company gave me a very reasonable quotation for my Building Survey, Chloe (from the sales team) was my first point of contact and she was very happy to help and provided me with all the information I needed to know about the survey I chose. Once the survey took place and I received my report, it had all the information in there that i was looking for, excellent report produced from one of the surveyors. Great experience! The sales person i spoke to was extremely helpful and professional. She kept us up to date with the processes. We booked the survey in on a Monday and the inspection took place 2 days later. We then received the report by email 3 days later. Booked on Monday, done by Thursday, much lower price than quoted elsewhere. If you don't mind not being called every time someone does something, this is great for you (as it was for me). If you're expecting the same kind of contact-based service as you'd get going straight to the surveyor, then go to them. It's an online service and it does what it says on the tin. Surveyor completed report to a great standard and it was emailed to me on the day (the day after the inspection itself) it was written. I would say that a lot of this depends on which surveyor does the work for you, as the turnaround period is really up to them, but Your Survey took all the fuss out of it, which was what I wanted. :) More...
