I first worked with Raj at WordUp on the White Label value proposition, which was a great experience. Once we had worked through everything I was a lot clearer about how to position the business and how to talk about it in a really simple, clear and easy to understand way. WordUp ran a brilliant workshop for me to help me get clear about my business value proposition. The half day workshop was a lot of fun and it worked really well. By the end, WordUp had helped me define the main messages for my Value Proposition and wrote a brilliant Value Proposition statement that encapsulates in a single line of copy, what I do and how I benefit my clients. Worked with Raj from WordUp to create a value proposition for our agency that has helped clarify our vision and put us on track to create a robust content marketing strategy. He has also helped us with copywriting and produced key pieces of content for us so now we have a content style to emulate for anything we produce in the future.

I worked for marketing/advertising agencies for almost 20 years. I always wanted to work for myself and I also wanted writing to be a part of my professional life. So that's what I did!

Almost 30 years working with brands and businesses of all sizes - I have a deep understanding of marketing communication. I also have a passion for words, so my sweet spot is helping companies find clarity in their messaging and manifest that message into brilliantly written and easy to understand copy, that cuts through the noise and gets in front of their customers.

I can provide services both online and remotely. Instead of face to face meetings, all of my meetings are currently run over Zoom, Google, Teams or Whereby - online, including the workshops I run.

No need, most of my meetings have gone online, which is perfectly fine for the work that I do. I even run all of my workshops online such as my Value Proposition workshop or Content Marketing Strategy workshop.

I offer a range of content marketing and copywriting services, to support businesses and brands of all types. My process involves helping my clients to get crystal clear about the key messages they need to get across to their target customers and then building content around those core messages and values - to ensure simple, clear and consistent content, that helps my clients confidently create a connection with their target customers.

I'll help you plan and write your website copy. Before I write anything, I'll first help you to plan the key messages you need to get across to your customers in each website page/section. Once we're clear about what we want to say, only then do I start writing your website copy. This process will ensure that we are delivering the right messages in the right way and in the right place, so we take your customers on a clear narrative journey that helps us get across everything we need to say, but also answer any questions your customers might have in their minds, about what you do and how you can help.

I will plan and write your blog/article, so we deliver the right key messages to your audience, with a clear plan of what we want them to take away and what we'd like them to do after reading the post (call-to-action). If required, I can also help develop a wider content marketing strategy, to plan ongoing content to support your sales and marketing initiatives.

I plan and write project case studies, to be leveraged as effective sales tools. Often, case studies are overlooked or quickly put together without much thought - when in reality, if planned and written well, case studies are one of the most effective sales tools a business can have. I have a great deal of experience in planning and creating clear, insightful and impactful case studies that make customers want to learn more about how you can help them.

As an ex-Business Development Director and now a business advisor/marketing consultant as well as a content specialist and copywriter, I'm well placed to plan and create effective sales and marketing collateral, that gets your target customers to take notice. Proposals, presentations, sales emails, marketing ads etc.

I have a great deal of experience planning and writing video scripts for the likes of SAP, Microsoft, PwC, National Grid etc. as well as for smaller businesses. Everything from talking head videos to animations.

I would say 95% of business newsletters are absolutely awful - boring and they commit the cardinal sin of wasting people's time. I have developed a system and a process to plan your newsletter, with clarity around it's purpose, your customer pain-points and what we're trying to achieve long term. The end result is a well-planned newsletter containing the right type of content for your target customers and achieving the results you need long-term, alongside building your own community and capturing customer email addresses.

An award entry is a technical piece of writing that requires an experienced practitioner. I have a great deal of experience in planning and crafting winning award entries. I've written these for global organisations such as Mindshare, Wavemaker, Jacobs as well as for small-medium size businesses for awarding bodies such as Cannes Lions and the Management Consultancy awards etc.

Many businesses fail, simply because they’re unable to get their message across to their target audience, in a clear and impactful way.

There are lots of things you could tell your clients, but to really cut-through the noise and get your message across loud and clear, requires some deep thinking and planning about who you are, what you do and the value you provide. Our half-day Value Proposition Workshop shines a light on what’s important, helping you discover and put into words a clear and concise value proposition, which speaks from the heart of your business - so everyone quickly understands what you stand for and how you can help them.

The output of the workshop is a clear succinct value proposition statement (to go on your website ‘Home’ page, email footer etc.), which immediately tells your audience who you are, what you do and how you can help them.

The session will also generate a number of second-tier core values and key messages, which will help inform your website content and other collateral, such as case studies, thought leadership and presentations etc.

By following this process, we’re able to ensure that all future content created for the business has a clear purpose and is simple, easy to understand and consistent across all of your marketing.

Our half day website content planning workshop is an important step in making sure that the copy in each section of your website, has all of the important messages you need to get across to your specific audience.

During the session we will plan and agree on all of the key messages and core values for the website, so that by the time we get to actually writing the copy, we’ll be totally clear about what we need to say and how to say it.



The content marketing strategy workshop is a half-day to full day interactive session, which will help us gain clarity around the most important messages and core business values that we need to communicate to your various audience/s.

We’ll then work through and plan a list of specific topics to build the content around, to make sure whatever we’re producing, helps to move our audience a step closer to working with us – be that through generating greater awareness about your business or content that tackles specific pain points they might be encountering.

The output of the content marketing workshop is a well thought out and planned content strategy that is in line with and directly supports your wider business development objectives.

After the session, WordUp will deliver a comprehensive content marketing strategy, outlining and confirming everything agreed during the workshop and then create a content marketing calendar for the year - with a detailed month-to-month plan of what needs to be created, with timings, roles and responsibilities.
