I signed up for a 6 session nutrional course with Jon which involved hourly phone calls and supporting material e-mailed on a regular basis. Throughout the term of the programme the nutrional requirements were designed to suit my needs and Jon’s knowledge was second to none.I would have no hesitation recommending Jon to anyone who wishes to take nutrition to the next level. I've worked with Jon as my PT for 7 years and my fitness, endurance and strength have all significantly improved with his guidance, encouragement and great people skills and his training has resulted in me winning 5 medals in national rowing competitions. I'd recommend him to anyone wanting to improve their mobility and overall fitness or to train for a specific sport. More...

I never thought I would look forward to getting up at 6.30 am in the dark winter months to go to a gym!Personal training with Jon actually makes me want to get up and go and exercise. His approach is encouraging and always tailored to individual needs, taking into account any aches or niggles. i really feel that I am now capable of achieving so much more than a couple of years ago. At one time having a personal trainer as a 'pensioner' is not something I would have thought of, but it really is an excellent idea.. I feel that I walk better, have a better posture, have better balance, more stamina and am more aware of looking after myself. The sessions, whilst hard work, are fun, interesting and Jon plays good music! More...

To say that Jon has had a positive impact on my whole family would be an understatement. Like many people I'd follow all the so called sports nutrition going. I'd trained for an Ironman in the past and managed to put weight on just by eating what I thought was good healthy food. I'm not going to lie and say I wasn't sceptical when I first started working with Jon. However, upon meeting Jon any reservations were quickly squashed! No question was too silly and more importantly I didnt feel judged by Jon in any way what so ever. whilst preparing the recipes felt like a bit of a chore to begin with (as we were buying a lot of pre packaged food) we soon got into the swing of things. The recipes were really easy to follow and there was a lot of feedback photos of empty plates! No better praise than that! My wife was heavily pregnant at the time so it was also good for her to be getting good nutrition. Now all the meal prep etc is second nature to us as we now cook for a family of 4. Both our kids were weaned on Jon's recipes getting the best start in life. I still keep in contact with Jon after 5 years and will hopefully be working with him again in the future. I have been training with Jon regularly now for over three years and put much of my continuing strength and flexibility down to that regular support. I always feel well supported , encouraged and positively challenged but never pushed beyond what I'm capable of.I've recently completed the 6 week nutrition course with Jon too and found that very useful, clear, well evidenced and practical. My wife and I have worked on a couple of nutritional programmes under Jon's guidance. Both lasted around 6 weeks and involved receiving suggested menus for a week followed by a review of what went well or not then we received more menus. 2 years on we are still using the menus and feel we eat far more healthily than before so don't feel hungry during the day and our weight and body stat has stayed quite stable. I worked with Real food function while I was a professional boxer and had to make a weight. I felt stronger, and lost the weight I needed to while still training extremely hard. Jon worked with me on a nutrition plan towards an Ironman Triathlon in 2016. The aim being to maximise energy levels and to adopt a more healthy and tasty diet regime. Having a weekly plan with full recipes for each day worked brilliantly for me, and the meals tasted fantastic (apart from aubergine, I don’t do aubergine ). I still race triathlons and still use the recipes on a daily basis. A personal trainer is not just for those wanting to get superfit. Jon is a very knowledgeable person both about exercise and nutrition. Working with him I have been able to stop using my crutch around the house and outside too if the terrain is flat.
