Describe your creative process.
The project really dictates the process I take. For a logo, I would start by researching as much information about the company and start brainstorming ideas either on my whiteboard or in my sketchbook. Once I've come up with something tangible I would show the client some rough sketches and get their take to see if I have fully understood the brief and am heading in the right direction. From there I would take the best ideas, digitise them and bring them to life.
For a website, I would start with the content and the message. Once I've fully understood the message I would start wireframing the site bring some shape to the content. From here I would work closely to the client to build a bespoke design that fits the brief with some additional flair and ideas of different features of the site. Then once the client is happy I would start the build, keeping the client updated along the way as we worked towards the live date.
What do you love most about your job?
Building things. Logos, photoshop creations, graphic illustrations, web designs and full websites. That's what I love about my job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started to give new businesses a chance to find their feet. It's easy for a well-established company to pay a software house to create their new website but for family-run businesses that don't have the start-up capital, it's hard to establish an online presence. I wanted to bridge that gap.
