I booked a model photo shoot for me and my best friend. I don't photograph well and wasn't getting my hopes up. I thought it would be a fun experience and at the end of the session I could get my free 10x8 photo and that would be it. How wrong I was! Nika and Mat (the owners) were wonderful, they were very welcoming, friendly. We were offered drinks and welcomed into the beautiful studio. The makeup artist was amazing. She was open to any requests and literally made them happen before my eyes. I've never worn so much make up but I looked great and felt great! Zika did my hair with ease, beautiful curls and it just set off my makeup.Then onto the shoot, the photography studio is state of the art. The photographer was a wonderful lady; she made me feel so comfortable. As I said, I don't photograph well and tend to keep out of photos, but she put me at ease. She guided me through lots of different backgrounds and sets and suggested all the poses for me which took the pressure of. She wasn't photo happy taking hundreds of photos; she took one great one of each set. All too soon it was over!Then it was into the viewing room with Mat to view my photos. THEY WERE FANTASTIC! I literally could not believe it was me on the screen. (This was before any editing, this was the raw photo). I instantly knew I wanted them. They were 100% worth the money. You get what you pay for and while it might seem really expensive, getting professionally taken photos, having the expert makeup and hair, lighting and state of the art camera technology costs money.They do a payment plan so you can spread the cost so there's no reason to not go for it! I cannot recommend Wild Ginger Photography highly enough. There services are at the top of the photography level. They've invested in the best equipment and staff to ensure the photos come out perfect.Since then I have had 3 more shoots, one with my partner and our dogs and two with my family.Nika's work just gets better and better. The photographers are friendly and accommodating. Brilliant picture of my old moth eaten looking labrador. Also the only picture I possess where I'm looking at the camera, which is incredible because I'm an Aspie who hates looking at camera lenses. Very nice , true feel like home place.. They are out standing people. The only thing I need to mention that they don't have wall radiator . . I got a voucher for my birthday for the Peggy sue 50s photoshoot and booked with Wild Ginger Photography. Mat was friendly and very helpful when arranging the date. They rang me the day before to see if everything was still OK and it was easy to find by Google maps with on street parking right outside. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. The studio is fantastic and has everything you need, you instantly feel at ease. The make up looked great (done by sammi) and there were some great outfits to choose from. Nika is fantastic and made me feel so comfortable, her sense of fun is contagious and she is a very talented photographer. I got some great photos (which I'm just waiting for, I only went 3 days ago!) I cannot recommend Wild Ginger Photography enough, whether it's for a baby shoot, family photo or a pet shoot you will certainly love this place! More...

My 13 year old daughter and her friend had an amazing time yesterday having their hair and make up done before having the photoshoot. The owners made us all feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. The make up I felt was age appropriate as it wasn't too heavy and looked fresh. The photographer was very professional and took over 70 photos with numerous backgrounds, props and styles. Fabulous day spent with Matt, Nika and their team for our bump photo shoot! They completely put my husband and I at ease and were so warm and welcoming. We ended up there for longer than anticipated (we had extra items done) and they made sure we were both fed and watered (means even more when you’re 30wks preggo!) The hair and make up were perfect, the studio is fab, the photography was awesome and it was hard to whittle the prints down for which to take home! 10/10! We have had two fantastic experiences at Wild Ginger Photography in our bump to baby photoshoots. The first was our pregnancy shoot. We were welcomed by Mat and Nika who are friendly, down to earth, and made us feel right at home. Being recent parents themselves, they perfectly understood the journey we were going through. I had my makeup and hair done by Nika and I was really pleased with both. We then had our photos taken. The shoot was relaxed and informal, and we got lots of fantastic shots. The hardest part was choosing which we wanted to take home. We then returned a few weeks later for our newborn shoot which was completed by Nika. She was exceptionally patient with our little boy and took many beautiful photos. This shoot is a long one but way worth it. Again we had trouble choosing which pictures we wanted. I couldn't recommend Wild Ginger Photography enough, and we look forward to using them again in the future. More...

Today we had an amazing afternoon at wild ginger photography. As soon as we arrived we were made so welcome.
My daughter was having a teenage photo shoot, her hair and make up was beautifully done. Even though her sister wasn’t booked on they did her hair and a touch of make up and including her in a few photos.
The lady photographing was great with the girls and the pictures are just what my daughter wanted.

Matt and Nika were amazing! Such lovely people. The studio was spacious, well equipped and easy to find. There were 8 of us in total, including two excitable children. Nika was great at putting us at ease during the photoshoot. Matt was fantastic at entertaining the children and happily chatted with us all. The pictures turned out amazing. We are all really happy with the pictures and are spoilt for choice.

Thank you Matt and Nika for a wonderful experience. I will be definitely contacting you again when I would like a portrait with my little family.

My five year old daughter has just had a fairy photo shoot a couple of weeks a go. What can I say. We had an amazing experience From the minute we walked in to the minute we left the door. The family who run the business (Matt and Tika) made us all feel so welcome. Not to forget the photoshoot experience who was done by a lovely lady (I am so sorry I can't remember your name). I would highly recommend. My brother and myself took our children for a Photoshoot to get a photo of our children together for our parents birthdays. The staff are so friendly. The kids (ages 16 to 4) were all made to feel welcome and relaxed and they all enjoyed themselves. We were on set to watch it all. We got to view and pick our photos whilst we were there.
