Myself and Katie got married at Tyn Dwr Hall on the 28th May where Wild Garlic are responsible for the catering and it’s difficult to express in words how perfect the food was and the efforts, professionalism and attention to detail all the staff went to in order to make the day was perfect. From the canapés at the first open day, to the tasting session, to the wonderful food on the day itself and finally to the welsh breakfast the morning after everything tasted absolutely amazing. Compliments to the chefs please - if We could give an award we would! Every interaction was warming, informative and productive and we were continually looked after and kept up to date with everything. The team were there on hand throughout the day and there was a seamless handover to the night time team. I went to a wedding at Tyn Dwr Hall in November. Now normally the wedding breakfast is let’s face it ... pretty rubbish. But we all put it down to it being pretty impossible to cook a good meal for 50-100 odd guests - and it fills a hole so that’s just fine! Well - not the case with wild garlic. Wild Garlic catered for our wedding in December and honestly my mouth is watering just remembering what they served up for us! They are a fantastic business to work with, really attentive, efficient and professional. You feel like you are in very safe hands with Claire, who guided us through the whole process. As we were a very small wedding party of about 25 we wanted to create a really special, memorable menu with personal touches and they were really open to and accommodating with our ideas and requests. The end result was beyond our wildest expectations; it was not your typical wedding food, it was more fine dining! Every single guest commented on how delicious the food was, and how blown away they were by the quality and presentation. But they also all commented on how friendly and helpful the staff were, which was really important to us – as it was such an intimate wedding party we wanted a very relaxed vibe and to really spoil our guests, which the staff were fantastic at - they were really attentive and relaxed which is just what we wanted. The staff were expertly led by Claire, who was brilliant at keeping an eye over proceedings and leaving me and the Groom to enjoy ourselves – thanks for keeping our drinks topped up Claire! I didn’t even notice them clearing the tables or tidying up, must have been some magic involved there, or too many beers on my part, but they left everywhere immaculate. Absolutely stunning! Wild garlic catered our wedding 2 weeks ago and it was fabulous from start to finish! I’ll start with saying that I’m a nightmare to cater for at the best of times - a fussy eater and a list of allergens as long as your arm. Wild however couldn’t have been more accommodating, adapting their dishes to take parts from each that we loved. The food tasting got us so excited and we weren’t let down come the wedding day. The canapés were gorgeous (they even kept us a platter to one side - how thoughtful!), the wedding breakfast was complimented by everyone and the evening food was both delicious and fun! No words can explain how amazing the Wild Garlic team are, we cannot recommend them more highly, as we travelled around our wedding guests tables on our wedding day there were empty plates everywhere with comments of ‘We have never tasted food like this’ ‘They are amazing’ ‘I want to eat that every day’ ‘Can you get married again’ and many more lovely comments. We were on cloud 9 with how much praise the team have had and still receive from our guests to this day. As a couple we felt so looked after and felt that your entire team worked perfectly and tirelessly to make sure that everyone at the wedding wanted for nothing not just us. Well what can I say, we had wild garlic at our teepee wedding in August and was the best decision we made. They go above and beyond their duties and nothing is to much for them, especially when u have a very hot teepee on a very hot day, they sorted it by opening it all up during eating (which they didn't have to do). The food was amazing and I had a lot of positive comments. You kept saying I was calm but I think that was because i knew the catering was in good hands and so i had nothing to worry about, so it was all thanks to you!! Thank you all so much!! Wild Garlic catered our teepee wedding in June.
The team were absolutely fantastic, everything went seamlessly on the day. We chose the "tapas in the teepee" option and it was absolutely delicious.
We love this type of food and it was nice to have options to choose from with each course. There were so many good reports from our guests. We certainly all enjoyed the waiters and waitresses coming around with seconds. I just wish I could have eaten more, but wedding dress restrictions and all that!

We genuinely could not believe how you managed to cook such amazing food in a little catering tent and thank you all so much for your hard work.

The Wild Garlic team are faultless! Our food was absolutely outstanding, all our guests commented on how wonderful it was, from the canapés, to the dessert, to the evening food. Kevin and his team are extremely friendly and professional. The service was second to none and so smooth you didn't even realise they were there! I am gluten free and I am aware the team made numerous GF profiteroles beforehand to ensure they were just right on the day. We also had a guest with and extreme nut allergy and Kevin cut all nuts out of the entire meal (without hampering the taste!). Well..... I just had my wedding 3 days ago and even now ....thinking about my breakfast makes my mouth water � you are an Extremely talented chef! !!
The food mixed with the venue location is definitely the biggest talking point post wedding
We had leek and potato soup, belly pork and a desert trio.... omg.... just out of this world
The hog roast in the evening was also just the tastiest ever!!!
We loved the taster evening also that became a part of the whole experience of our wedding ....

WOW!!! Can’t even explain how thrilled we were with Wild Garlic providing the catering for our wedding. The Menu Tasting before hand was an experience in itself-literately torn as to what to pick, however Kevin spoke very wise words and said we must decide what we (the bride & groom) want! We couldn’t have been more happier with our choices, the canapés & food were out of this world. So accommodating with the starter trio & dessert trio. Wild Garlic did the catering for our wedding in Wales of 140 people and were outstanding. The smoked duck salad starter was well portioned and subtle, the lamb was incredibly tender, the profiterole croque-en-bouche theatrical and the service immaculate. How they achieved all this in a satellite kitchen of a stables I don't know - and we had countless compliments on the standard of the food.

This is much higher quality than typical wedding fare food, but at a very reasonable price. They do a free tasting when you book with them - and as soon as we'd done that and tasted their cooking, we never worried about the food again.
