We stayed overnight on a bank holiday weekend. The hotel was well decorated, clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a sign detailing what languages staff members could speak including cockney which was a nice touch. There was a mix up with our room (given a keycard to a room someone else was already in, awkward!!) But this was handled professionally and the staff were very apologetic. We were given a disabled room (We are not) which had a nice wide doorway and a slow closing door. There were also the usual handles and assistances in the bathroom including a shorter sink however the mirrors were quite high if you were sitting down (I took pictures of it) which would make them difficult to use for a wheelchair user. The bed was also quite high! But everything was very comfortable. The breakfast was absolute perfection. A bit pricey at £15 per person but lots of choice and cooked to absolute perfection. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. Excuse the photos, they were taken at the end of our stay and not indicative of the tidiness or cleanliness of the room. More...

Surprisingly quiet given its location in bustling Hatfield, Beales Hotel assumes modern decor and charming service on arrival at Reception. Went for dinner using a Bob FM voucher. Service and food very good, if a little pricey. Are early on a Saturday evening, very quiet in the hotel and restaurant.

The Beales hotel is a very comfortable hotel with a modern touch located in Hatfield. I have spent a few days here a and found the staff very friendly.
