Where do I begin? Wedding Angels was nothing short of AMAZING from beginning to end. My consultant, Leslie, was so attentive to every last detail right from the start and totally executed my vision beyond my expectations! She took the time to look over pictures I brought when looking for my dress, and immediately picked out the perfect dress. The first dress I tried on ended up being my dream dress! We loved that there are private rooms, which makes the experience feel so much more intimate and fun. After going to David's Bridal and being overwhelmed with their process, I knew I wanted to go to a boutique to find my gown. Wedding Angels was recommended to me by a friend and they did not disappoint. The consultant is very attentive and good at staying within your specified budget. She did not pressure me into saying yes and actually recommended I try a few more on before firmly committing. I also had my alterations done with them and was so pleased with the service and quality of the alterations. From the moment I walked in I was given nothing short of superb treatment. You truly feel that you were meant to be there. As soon as I was greeted I knew I was in for a special experience. And boy let me tell you did they delivered! My consultant (or Angel) Gail, was nothing short of amazing!!! I cannot say enough good things about this place!! Wedding angels was the last stop of the day for me, and let me just say I had a horrible experience with every other shop I had been to so I was completely defeated when I arrived. I got there and was greeted with such warmth and kindness, I was brought to a private room and offered beverages , champagne, and snacks. Then my consultant sat me down and actually talked to me about my concerns , how I was feeling, and she made me feel so supported! Every dress I tried on there I loved , but finally the last dress I tried on that my consultant Brittany had picked ended up being THE ONE. she listened to me the whole time and made me feel so beautiful and welcomed! You know how you feel better when you’re dressed in something you love? That’s what you need on the biggest day of your life…and I wish I could wear my wedding dress every day. This is a love letter to Jacquie and her team at Wedding Angels. I first met her at a wedding shoot for a magazine, and her immediate warmth and personality put me at ease for trying on dresses. (I don’t know if you know this, but a wedding dress for most women is one of the most important pieces of clothing they’ll EVER buy…I’ve been told the pictures last GENERATIONS, so there’s a *small* amount of stress involved.) Jacquie led me through options with ease, pulling SO many dresses for me to try, never pushing me toward one or the other, but telling the truth when I asked for it, and guiding me when I needed it. She handled family opinions with grace, my stress tears at myself at the final fittings with reassuring words, and even helped my mother with her Mother of the Bride outfits so she looked like a Queen and all our grooms & groomsmen with their tuxes (even coming up with creative ways to tie my husband's female groomsman - his sis - to the colors of my bridesmaids while tying in my male bridesmaid to the groomsmen). Homegirl even got me an amazing hair stylist last minute because I was too indecisive and scared to pick someone! Wedding Angels is amazing!!! A situation occurred where at one point... I wasn’t even sure I’d have a wedding dress less than two months before my wedding. Jackie, Karen, Donna, Celeste, Alicia and every person who works there.. stepped in and literally saved the day. They are so generous and genuinely care about their clients. They did everything they could to please my needs. They went completely above and beyond and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. I can’t say enough about how incredible my experience at Wedding Angels was. I was only in town for a couple of days and they were so accommodating of my schedule. They also made sure that I had plenty of space for my large family to come with me and help me pick a dress. The staff was so incredibly kind and they all made me feel so special. My consultants, Leslie and Shelby, truly understood what I wanted and were very honest with me as well. They let me pick what I wanted at first and then chose dresses for me based off of my responses to the different dresses. I, of course, ended up with a dress that they had chosen for me because they are true experts in their field. Where do I even begin with Wedding Angels...? This was the 3rd & final boutique I went dress shopping at. You walk in & beauty is all around you. Everywhere you look, the dresses all are stunning, different & gorgeous. Cindi, my consultant listened to exactly what I wanted. She knew I was torn between two dresses from two other stores, & somehow managed to find a dress that was the best qualities of the two that were confusing me. I swear she went in the back room & told mice & birds to sew this dress because of how perfect it was. I cried my eyes out. Even my alteration process has been incredible. I have bitter sweet feelings about my time at wedding angels. The suite was fantastic and my large party had plenty of room. All the ladies were super friendly and i felt very welcomed. There were not as many dresses in my price range (1500) and size (20+) to try on as i had hoped. The lovely lady helping us (Ellen) was a lot of fun but we discussed my budget and every dress but 1 was over budget. I ended up falling in love and was told it was just $100 over budget and i felt i could live with that. When we started talking serious numbers they wanted 67% down with the remaining balance due in 90 days and with taxes the total was now over 1800 which is $300+ over budget. I told her this is my dress and i will be ordering soon but i needed a little time to come up with the additional money. She continued to pressure me into making the purchase that day and i was immediately turned off. I booked back to back appointments so my bridesmaids could find a dress as well. The lady helping me told me that there was no use in the girls trying on dresses until i find my dress. I explained to her again that i plan on purchasing that dress and after a few minutes she agreed to let my girls try dresses on. Wedding Angels helped style my entire wedding this past January. Everyone looked amazing! From my first appointment looking for my dress, to picking out the bridal party attire, and my final fitting appointment, everything went perfectly. Leslie was my consultant. She helped me find the perfect dress, pick out my groom’s and groomsmen’s suits, and bridesmaid dresses. It was so nice having everything in one place because I could pull all the pieces and see how they looked together. Leslie is also very knowledgeable about all the designers and has the perfect eye to help your vision come to life. She will also give you honest advice, because she truly cares about how everyone looks and feels on your wedding day. Alicia is the receptionist and is truly amazing. She was able to answer all my questions and help everything go so smoothly. To top it off, they have over 600 brides at a time working with their salon, and she remembered me by name every time I came in. Lisa Anne was my alterations manager. She has such a calming demeanor that helped to calm all my prewedding nerves during my fitting appointments. She also listened to how I wanted my dress to fit and she helped to make sure it happened. I absolutely loved Wedding Angels. Everyone that worked there was so nice and friendly. It was so crowded when I first walked in but I was warmly greeted and offered a glass of champagne or bottle of water. I was then taken on a tour of the building so I would know where to look around for my wedding dress. Leslie was so personable and did every thing to make sure I found the perfect dress. She let me try on so many different styles and designs. I came back later in the day to purchase my dress and was again greeted so warmly and Jackie was so wonderful helping me with my purchase. Even though I have only one bridesmaid, we still got the full bridesmaid experience. Our dresser found several gowns she could try on in the plus size range, which was super important to us (so we could have some idea of how the dress would look on her body). The dresser was very responsive to our feedback, and a joy to work with. They also have several social occasion / mother of the bride dresses that are available in a wide range of sizes. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! this was the second store I visited for my wedding dress and I was not disappointed! The store is so cute and they have a TON of dresses! So many options! Also the bubbly NEVER STOPS coming. All the ladies who work here are awesome, every employee I met was so nice and genuine. They literally made me feel like it was "my day" and all about me, who doesn't love that!? I would come and buy another dress just for the experience. Working with wedding angels was one of the best experiences throughout this wedding process. Everyone from the front desk to the assistant manager was phenomenal. The first time I walked into those doors, to the last time I walked out with my dress... the staff was so kind, helpful, and professional! Alicia, the front desk receptionist, is the sweetest person and even texted me when I FORGOT a fitting! She was able to squeeze me in later that day! Also, Karen helped me pick out my perfect dress even though I hate dresses and was so picky with everything I tried on! She was so patient and knew exactly what dress was going to be the one for me. Let me tell you ... this was the best experience ever! We walked in and we were welcomed by Alicia who sits at the front desk. She was friendly the whole time throughout the appointment and offered us champagne . She told us Gail would be with us and she was within a couple of minutes . Gail sat down with us and the bride . She asked questions and got a feel for what she was looking for (budget , style , color). She immediately went and pulled exactly what my friend described . I loved her knowledge and expertise . She was so personal and professional at the same time . My girlfriend found the most perfect dress ! We even showed Gail how to take a boomerang of us and she was eager to take multiple . We made an appointment and were treated like royalty! The ladies here are wonderful! I'm pretty sure we went over our appointment time but you'd never know it based on those ladies! They never rushed me in any way and listened to ME! Especially when other people were offering their opinions, they listened to me and want I wanted to see in a dress! So many of the ladies working there would volunteer to help you find your perfect dress. My perfect dress came from an unexpected worker who thought it would work! I ended up picking that dress and everyone left that day as happy campers! A few months later the dress was in and we were off to alterations. Alterations at Wedding Angels is the way to go! They are wonderful and treat you like you're their daughter! No request was too silly and I felt taken care of and heard! She gave my spaghetti strapped dress sleeves and it was perfect! Every appointment I felt better and more excited for our big day! Not going to lie, I was sad when my alterations were finished! Wedding Angels was the second bridal boutique I went to, and I found my dress within the hour. I picked a few out that I thought I liked, but then my consultant brought in the dress of my dreams. She also helped me stay within my budget, in comparison to the other boutique who showed me dresses hundreds outside of my budget (which just hurts inside! because you can't have them) She also helped me realize the dream of having straps on my dress (as this one was strapless) and gave me the name of the best Seamstress ever Caron Crawford! I will say the ONLY downside (and the reason I gave it a 4) was that it took over 6 months for my dress to come in, which was slightly concerning, it got there in time BUT as a very type A individual it did make me worry. Wedding Angels made finding my dress the most wonderful experience! I’m a proud plus size woman and honestly was dreading wedding dress shopping. Wedding Angels changed that. They have an amazing selection of plus size sample dresses and made me feel like a model! I’m still in awe of how many choices I had, but I knew the minute I put on my dress that it was the one. Gail, who assisted me in my search, was absolutely wonderful! She was so supportive and knowledgeable. Gail even helped me find a vail that goes perfectly with my dress. She has a great eye for fashion and is just so darling!
The appointment was a dream, from start to finish. Alicia, from the front desk, was so welcoming and friendly. Took the time to get to know me and the small group I brought with me. Alicia also helped answer a few questions I had a few days after purchasing, putting me right at ease and confirming I choose the right place to purchase my dress. The owner, Jacquie, was so lovely.
