Great venue for live music and seen a number of performances here. The sound is very good as well with naturally good acoustics.

Visited for the family rave. Great experience enjoyed by all of us (mum, dad, three year old and 8 month old). Quick entrance despite reassuring security measures). Only downside was that for this particular event they didn't have any break out space as they have had previously and that was pretty tough for our son who does have additional needs. More...

We visited for the Snooker Shootout and was a little disappointed. There was plenty of seating but not allocated to a ticket. We had two all day and evening tickets and only managed to find 1 free seat. People had turned up, bagged a bunch of seats then left leaving a mate to guard the seats while they were off out doing what ever, I watched games from the TV screens in the lobby until someone let me sit on one of their mates reserved seats. Allocated seating is needed and the beer prices are a bit steep. More...

A wonderful auditorium for entertainment, from concerts to dance shows to stand-up. Circle seats are more comfy than stalls, but they're it too bad. Facilities are clean, staff helpful. Bar was busy when we went and only one coffee machine, so a bit of a wait. But overall a great place to go. More...

We came yesterday to see Justin's Party and the show was amazing great seating arrangements and the performers were wonderful. The only fault we noticed was the drinks queues at the interval there were not enough staff on to cover the crowds and people were still waiting as the performance started. Other than that staff were very helpful and the venue was clean. More...

What's the point in telling you what's wrong you don't listen and you certainly don't do anything about it. All the complaints are about the bar i read one from December and in April it's still the same problem . I saw al Murray and you did bring two beer machines into the arena i thought great but NO they didn't work. More...

I love visiting the Colly. Been going for many years. My Westend of Watford! Great show delivered by Al Murray. Lovely staff looking after us! Shame that the manager's at the Colly have never woken up to the fact that the delivery at the bar is TERRIBLE! Either employ more staff for big crowd evenings or sack the manager! My friends and I had pre-show drinks elsewhere because of the problem. Even when we arrived the bar was queued unnecessarily! Love the Colly, but managers need to sort it out! More...

I was quite amazed at how sweet and helpful all the people working at the Colosseum that we came into contact with were! The lady behind the bar, friendly, chatty asking if we had a good trip to Watford (I felt bad it was such a short journey), the lady cleaning up the tables, did so with a smile and then when we got to our seats and my seat number was missing, they speedily found one, moved the whole row to fit it in and pulled the stage curtain back a bit to make sure our view wasn't a problem! Venues in London could learn a lot from the Watford Colosseum! Thank you for a great night! Oh and Russell Brand was absolutely brilliant, so catch him next time round. More...

A big thank you to the wonderful people at the Colosseum Watford. Last night I had the pleasure of having a meal in the lovely restaurant and the staff could not do enough to help. The beatroot crunch starter was delicious and I was so grateful when the lovely waitress managed to find the salmon for my main meal and this was delicious. I am not too sure who bought the icecream for me at the interval break, but I feel truly blessed. The icecream took me down memory lane oto the time when I was 12 and as a treat I would be bought an icecream from Hansons. The cider was just the ticket for a brilliant night rockin with the wonderful Shakin' Stevens. Once again thanks you for a marvellous evening which I shall rememver for a long time to come and I look forward to coming back soon. More...

Saw Adam Ant last night and he was great, looks as if there was extra security but security staff and Colosseum staff were all great and friendly. Having now read the other posts I'm not so sure there was extra security or not but was more than when I was at the Royal Albert Hall a while back.
It wasn't very clearly marked where you needed to go and I ended up going to the wrong door to start with. Also the bar staff weren't very good at spotting who was next in line at the bar and at least two people were served before me who had turn up to the bar after me.

Had a fantastic evening at the Watford Colosseum watching Soul II Soul. Sound was great and the staff were really helpful. Unfortunately even though the bar staff were working as hard as they could and extremely polite there wasn't enough of them working. I gather from previous post this is an on going matter that needs addressing. with the facility there you could have been easily 3x the staff. which would have been more adequate . Apart from this problem i would still be happy to come back as it is a great venue. More...

What ford coliseum it a great centrally located venue in Watford. It has modern facilities including a very large dance hall and stage area. There are also other large areas you can also hire. It is ideal for putting on stage events as well as dances. There is a large wooden dance floor of good quality in the main room and a system tired seating. The seating is really good as you can always get a clear view of the stage and the dance floor if you are a spectator. The venue has a full bar and catering also making it ideal for weddings and conferences. There is a very large car park with overflow carparks near by. The access and hallways are generous and roomy. The facilities do well to cater for disabled visitors as the are special ramps and toilets. The venue can be a little difficult to find in the Watford one was system so use your satnav and do not forget to come off at the exit ramp. See photos of a recent dance event. More...

The whole is nice and acoustics are superb for live music. The chairs are fairly comfortable as well which is pleasant. Staff are super friendly however I wasn't too fond of the way security we're chasing everyone out at the end of the event. They could do with a little customer service training. They were very abrupt and rude - they wouldnt allow a lady on crutches to exit the building from the backstage door with her father (who was the performer that evening) so she had to come from the front and walk the whole way round with us. Other than that it was a pleasant experience More...

Decent sized hall, not too small and not too big. Good for intimate but energetic concerts.

Bar was pretty expensive, but that's expected at any venue.

Large toilets that were well maintained also.

Thanks to Jane Kirk and the team at Watford Colosseum for the use of their wonderful facilities in The Forum, where we held our A Little Bit Of Google Goes A Long Way workshop last week. The Forum was perfect for our needs, with a great technical team on hand for any problems. Nothing was too much trouble and the coffee was really good! A great venue to hire out for workshops and conferences, thoroughly recommend.

Went for the first time with my daughter and granddaughters and one other person to see The Nutcracker Ballet which was lovely.
The place was full but the whole time there was a child coughing and another child jumping about on the seat right near me which was a shame. There were no programmes available as they had sold out which was a shame as I like a souvenir. They must have known how many people were going to come and should have printed enough.
