What an amazing team of people. My uncle can be tricky at times, but Visiting Angels always bring a smile to his face. Nothing is too much trouble and the level of care is very high. Timings are impeccable and notification is always given if any delay, which is rare. To find a care package for my uncle, I thought was going to be a struggle, but Visiting Angels live up to their name and I can speak very highly of them all. Thank you, Visiting Angels, you have taken away some of the stress of looking after an elderly relative and given my uncle care to a very high standard. More...

Visiting Angels have been very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the time they cared for my father. They never missed a visit and would inform my father of the schedule of carers each week, so that he knew who to expect. They were able to increase the number of visits when asked and even provided cover at short notice when my father needed extra care one weekend. All the carers were very kind and patient with my father who was a very demanding client! More...

Q&As

We are so proud at the Visiting Angels South Middlesex branch for giving back to my local community. With the help of our great Angel carers, we are providing and looking after the elderly and giving them something to look forward to every day.

My passion for caring for the elderly started way back when I was 14. I had volunteered at a local nursing home playing the clarinet to the elderly every Sunday. From then, I always had it in my mind that one day I would run a home care service of some kind. Years went by and naturally my career digressed and spanned from working within different industries such as finance, retail and more recently in aviation for a global airline. Whilst I have worked in these industries, the thought never left my mind to go back to care.
My late grandmother always said I was destined to work in care and I am so happy I can fulfil this with the help of my supportive team with me.

Our unique approach to managing your home care in Hounslow, Twickenham, Hampton, Shepperton and surrounding areas begins with listening to you. We know that purchasing home care is rarely a happy occasion, driven by either an acute health episode, or a slower deterioration in health or mobility, which has prompted a call for help.

Therefore, our team give the time to understanding your personal story, your circumstances, concerns and needs, we then create a home care plan completely tailored for you, or your elderly loved one.

This means that we put our care giver (Angels) at the heart of everything we do. We set them up for success in delivering the care you need, we believe that care cannot be rushed, and that companionship should come as standard.

Importantly, we also reward our Angels with the best pay rates in the industry, as well as continually developing their capabilities to deliver quality care.

At Visiting Angels, we have an extremely experienced team of care giving Angels who have been delivering care for many years. We are therefore able to provide a range of care services including:

-Personal Care
-Elderly Care
-Companionship and domestic help
-Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care
-Stroke Care
-Live-in Care
-Palliative Care
-End of Life Care
-Respite Care
-Post hospital Care

A free pre-support assessment will identify all your specific health needs, such as support with medication and nutrition, and will allow us to tailor your care plan to these needs.

Additional specialist training is given where needed so that our care giving Angels know exactly how to best support you, or your elderly loved one, thus providing excellent value for money.

We provide local carers (Angels) that live in or near to your community, and we match them to both you and your home care needs through Choose Your Care giver.

An essential part of our service is to give our clients a choice of caregiver matched to their own specific care needs, and to their hobbies, pastimes, and interests. We introduce you to our matched Caregiver before home care starts, so that you can get to know them and decide if they are right for you. It is important for our long-term relationship that our clients trust the Angels that they invite into their homes and enjoy being in their company.

We offer a face to face service and are happy to travel to any of our area including:

-Respite care provides an opportunity to trial the care in the home experience for a few hours or a few days.

Visiting Angels often works cooperatively with physical therapists, and other health professionals to provide complementary services so the client is provided a full spectrum of care that will help expedite the recovery process.

Care giver Angels make our clients’ transitions from hospital to home as seamless, safe, and positive as possible. Our caregivers post-operative care services include:

-Transportation - our carer givers all have cars and can provide transportation home from a hospital or facility, including scheduled follow up appointments and physical therapy sessions.
-Medication Reminders - Caregivers will pick up prescriptions and other supplies, and we can remind clients to take their medication on time.
-Encouragement - Recovery is hard work and our Angels are there to provide encouragement and support doctor-prescribed physical or speech therapy.
-Companionship - It’s not unusual for clients recovering from surgery to experience melancholy or become frustrated. Our Angels are there to provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities that the client enjoys.
-Personal Care - Surgery and extended hospital stays often result in weakness and limited range of motion that cause difficulty grooming and bathing. Our caregivers can provide basic personal hygiene support to help get dressed and ready every day. This also includes light housekeeping to keep the home environment clean, tidy, and safe from any hazards.
-Respite Care - When you or other primary caregivers need relief, our caregivers can step in. We will cover all responsibilities while you take a break and recharge.
-Patient Monitoring and Communication - our Angels will provide follow-up communication with family members and a client’s Primary Care Doctor to keep everyone updated on the recovery status.
We actively work with our clients and their families to create a postoperative care strategy that fits everyone’s specific needs.
