Whatever home care support you are looking for, I wholeheartedly recommend Visiting Angels. After a disappointment with another provider, Visiting Angels came to the rescue. Dad needed care at home alongside a live-in carer already in place. After a meeting with the manager, Dad was matched with two wonderful carers, who were both considerate, kind, hard-working and professional in every aspect of their care. My father (who has since passed), was treated with dignity and placed in very safe hands. As he gradually deteriorated, Visiting Angels immediately responded to the necessary personalised care needed. Nothing was too much trouble - they went beyond the call of duty in every aspect. During such a stressful time, Visiting Angels were extremely supportive and totally understood what was needed. We are so grateful to all the Angels that work for this company. Thank you so much. I want to say a big thank you to Visiting Angels for looking after my Aunty. They have been so accommodating to her needs. They matched a caregiver to my aunt based on her preferences. My aunt has dementia which means consistency is very important and Visiting Angels has made sure she has had the same team of carers for my aunt since day dot. I cannot express enough how much they have made a difference. The management has been so responsive and always answer any questions where necessary. More...

Visiting Angels has been looking after my grandmother of recent. After a few transitions to different agencies Visiting Angels have definitely provided results. The senior staff really took the effort to ensure her needs were identified and followed through to what has been delivered. They do more then what we intended them to do, from helping her out with laundry to taking walks around the park, she has really grown to adore her caters which I will say have been the same consistent three carers from the beginning. We are so grateful. More...

I have been receiving care from Visiting Angels since late 2022. Visiting Angels have been very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the time they cared for me. They have never missed a visit and would inform my daughter of the schedule four weeks in advance. Although I have had the same carers since the beginning.

All the carers are very kind and patient with my me and always involve me in my care by allowing me to continue to do things that I am capable of myself. My carer encourages me to get back on my feet by ensuring I am mobilising and doing my exercises. I am very happy with my care.

I always feel thought for example on my birthday they came with some flowers, cake and a card to celebrate it was touching. Thank you Visiting Angels.

Visiting Angels is literally what it says, we have Angels visiting my mum every day, and the support they give her is amazing. We were given a team of Angels (caregivers) who visit Mum, and these Angels are her regulars. The team of three Angels rotate throughout the week, and Mum knows who they are and when they are coming all the time. This was really important for us as my mum can be overwhelmed when there are loads of new faces, but they have been consistent from the start. The Angels dont change, and they always communicate with us if there are any changes prior. The Angels have built an amazing relationship with Mum; they even take her out for walks, to coffee shops and libraries as without support, Mum would not be able to go out, and I and the family, were finding it very difficult to be able to get her out when she wanted.
The management and senior staff are so supportive and really understood what we were looking for. My mum is so grateful for her Angels.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I thought Visiting Angels really deserve to be praised for the amazing work they do for their clients.
From the beginning, the care manager really took into consideration my mum's preferences and skill sets needed to care for her to ensure we were matched with the perfect caregivers.
The caregivers are always on time and always go above and beyond at every visit.
We always feel listened to when we have made suggestions.
Mum adores her caregivers to the extent that she no longer asks for her own children to visit but instead wants to know when her caregivers will be back again so she can enjoy their company.

Had a consultation for my mum with the Care Manager and she was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable and understands what our worries and needs are.

The process was so different to our prior care providers, there's meet the caregiver session and the Care Manager was there with the carer to ensure everything goes smoothly.

I definitely feel safe to leave my mum in their hands.

I am so happy with the care and attention which my Mum has received from Visiting Angels. My Mum looks forward to their visits and she is always happy to see them.
The Angels are so caring and great with communication with both Mum and the family.
I know that I can rely on them for helping Mum with her meals and meds and they really are interested in her likes and dislikes.
They are such a great support.
Thank you so much X

The branch started following my own experience to arrange care for my father after his cancer diagnosis. My experience left me feeling frustrated and emotionally drained and I wanted to make sure no one else went through the same thing.

Visiting Angels’ mission is to help individuals remain independent in their own home and stay connected with their loved ones.

We provide unrushed care tailored to your needs. In addition, you will be able to choose your own caregiver who will be matched to your personality because we know that inviting someone into your home is a big decision so you will need to be allocated the best Angel.

Your home is a foundation of love, warmth and relationships. Why would you want to move away from the place you love and know best?

Care in the home allows you to stay in a familiar environment and stay connected to your friends and relatives. By receiving care at home, you will stay in the house that you love and continue enjoying the community that you are a part of.

Dementia care at home can be a challenge for both patients and those who care for someone who has it. No day repeats itself, and the care required can vary dramatically from day to day. Additionally, caring for someone with Dementia requires specialist communication, behavioural skills and routine to ensure that identity is maintained and dignity is preserved.

With a condition like Dementia, the client should get a familiar face or the same carer to help them with daily tasks. High retention is necessary for consistent and continuous care. However, that doesn’t mean Dementia patients must leave home and relocate to a care home or respite centre to seek help.

Dementia live-in care or visiting care is an affordable alternative to residential care for those who need someone to be with them day and night. A professional, fully trained carer can reside with our clients in their own home, provide one-to-one service, and round-the-clock care to give our clients the best quality of life possible.

Our caregivers are fully trained to deal with more complex care needs such as end of life and palliative care. Our Visiting Angels Academy training includes how to recognise non verbal symptoms of pain and how to support you with medication. We focus on helping you to feel more comfortable and independent at home. During our assessment, we truly listen to your needs and wishes, we take time to understand you so that we can support your emotional and spiritual needs as well.

We understand that hospital discharge can be a challenging time for both patients and their families. That's why we offer hospital discharge support services to ensure a smooth and successful transition from hospital to home.

We provide a range of services, including medication management and mobility assistance to ensure the patient's recovery is on track. We also offer transportation services to follow-up appointments, medication pickups, and grocery shopping to reduce stress for the patient and their family. We work closely with district nurses, physio therapists, doctors and other health care professionals to provide regular updates on our client's progress and respond to any concerns or questions they may have.

Our hospital discharge support services offer peace of mind to patients and their families, knowing that they have the support and care they need to recover in the comfort of their own home.

At Visiting Angels our specialist Complex Care services can provide the bespoke support for you and your family at any stage.

Apart from the clinical aspects of care, we understand the emotional, social and practical challenges of living well with complex care needs.

From 1 hour home care visits to 24 hour around the clock care, we take a holistic approach to the care and support we deliver and work closely with our clients, their families and health care professionals to ensure our home care remains highly personalised and responsive to changing needs and preferences.

Whether it is helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping (cleaning, dusting, hoovering), feeding your pets, watering your plants, admin; we can help. Our caregivers ensure that you will always be comfortable and safe at home. We can also help with running errands for you including grocery shopping, assisting with appointments and help staying active.

Our goal is to offer outstanding care and support to both the family members and their loved one. We understand that caregiving can be challenging and demanding, and we aim to provide a reliable and compassionate service that gives the family members the break they need to rest, recharge, and attend to their own needs.

Our respite care services are personalized to meet the unique needs and preferences of the individual, and we strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment that promotes their wellbeing. Our trained and qualified caregivers offer a range of services, including personal care, medication management, meal preparation, transportation, and companionship.

With our respite care services, caregivers can have peace of mind, knowing that their loved ones are receiving exceptional care and support.
