Lynn was great, knowledgeable, caring and understanding. I also liked that they weren't to big and she would keep in touch/know what was going on with me.
What do you love most about your job?
As the company owner, I love that I personally meet all our new clients and work directly with them to understand what help they need from us , to help achieve the best outcome for them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After 30 years working in the care world either as a nurse and then 15 years working with people and families affected by dementia for Alzheimer's Society, I wanted to deliver the type of care that my patients/clients were telling me that they wanted.
Why should our clients choose you?
We care from the heart and we want to make our clients lives better . We will do our absolute best to do whatever is needed to truly make a difference to our clients lives.
We only recruit the best caregivers who we train, support and treat well so that they will stay with us and offer our clients the continuity that they need. We provide a minimum one hour call because we don't want our caregivers our our clients to feel rushed. We offer value in that we will assess the number of hours care that we can deliver the care needs in, being creative in helping clients maximise their budget and we will always stay for the whole booked call and offer additional help where time allows.

Our care is relationship based however we can assist with shopping, prescription collection etc by simply contacting the office . We are also helping our clients use facetime to stay in touch with their relatives during the pandemic.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We wear a surgical facemask in all our clients homes and have good stocks of PPE . We train our caregivers in infection control and identify this tasks on the daily care plan . We are about to start testing our caregivers on a weekly basis as per government guidelines .
Companionship
We know the value of social interaction and the positive effects it has on both mental well being and physical health.
We match our caregivers with our clients so that a relationship can be established.
We can visit for one hour each week to whole days, either staying at home or out on a trip!
Home Help
Household chores have simply just become too much for many of our clients and we help them to maintain their standards so that they feel content in their home . Chores such as vacuuming, bed changing etc.
Our clients often accept help with household chores before accepting the idea of help with personal care which we understand and support them through this acceptance of care if needed .
Shopping and Errands
Nothing is too much trouble for our Angels.
We will help our clients with whatever they need , either going shopping together or on their behalf.
Personal Care
Whether our clients need help to get in and out of the bath/shower or a bowl of water bringing for them, or even a bed bath, our caregivers are trained to optimise independence and dignity whilst helping our clients to feel clean . We are also able to assist our clients to manage their continence needs in the least intrusive way.
Medication Support
Our caregivers will help clients from prescription collection through to daily medication administration including application of creams. Our Angels will help whether the client needs a gentle reminder or actual administration/application.
Meal Preparation and Support
We all know how important meal times are in our day.
Our caregivers can work either alongside the client or on their behalf, preparing meals that the client wants to eat at a time that they want to eat. We also ensure that clients have access to food and drink, even when we are not there .
