What do you love most about your job?
The satisfaction knowing that I have successfully matched a client with a carer and providing that assurances that comes with someone getting quality, continuous and consistent care. The peace of mind and fulfilment that comes with knowing that I have gone above and beyond for my clients'. We treat all our clients as if they are our own loved ones.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A sibling of mine was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years ago. I was his main carer, and pregnant at the time with my youngest child. At some point we had to sought care. Needless to say, it wasn't what we expected. Carer's didn't turn up on time, we had different carers on each visit and sometimes not bothering to turn up at all. This horrendous experience is my motivation to do better, to go above and beyond for my clients. No one deserves bad care. I understand what it's like to be both a carer and client.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a deeper understanding of person-centred care and how when its done right can tremendously benefit a vulnerable person, it enables independence, boasts confidence and well-being. I am here to help relieve some of the burden or stress in caring for a loved one and most importantly at Visiting Angels, we will treat your loved ones as we would to our own.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Yes, we provide full PPE and follow the government's COVID guidance.
