Vineyard Wine Bar was born out of a desire to have somewhere civilised to meet, relax and spend time - easily accessible but away from the hustle & bustle of Colchester's day and night life.
The result is an exciting venue in the heart of Colchester, offering a more discerning clientele a place to relax in the ambience of a historic 17th Century Grade II Listed Building, refurbished in a contemporary rustic style of solid oak and exposed brickwork but softened with comfortable sofas and intimate furnishings.

The lounge area is rather bare and let's down the lounge area, it needs some artwork on the walls. It felt like we were in a house whilst they were in the middle of doing up their lounge (obviously the seating and carpet was brand new, it is just crying out for something on the walls).
Brilliant wine list and friendly service, would go back.
