Q&As

Our carers are a confident hard working team who are sensitive, empathetic and able to support individuals to find solutions for their own problems. We have knowledge and understanding with regards to a person centred approach which helps promote independence and well-being for individuals we work with. Our carers also have knowledge of social diversity and equal opportunity issues and have the ability to demonstrate this throughout all aspects of care practice. Our carers are able to deal with abusive and aggressive clients and able to stay calm and assertive when dealing with conflicting demands.

I started Victorious Living because l am driven by a desire to make a huge difference in individuals we care for. I saw a need in Health and Social care to improve the quality of life of our clients, families and carers. I own, manage and l am the Registered Manager at Victorious Living, a specialist homecare provider with a wide range of services, from rehabilitation to end of life.
Before venturing into care business, I worked as a full time qualified Social Worker (still registered with Social Work England) with various Local Authorities. l worked in partnership with care providers and witnessed good and bad practice. I reached a point where I was frustrated by not progressing in my career and support individuals in the way I felt they deserved.
I decided to set up my own care company to support clients to get the best possible care and support. l ensure that carers are adequately trained, valued and respected for the life changing tasks they do daily. It’s a wonderful role and I have no regrets leaving the local authority. Our team efforts is making a real difference to our clients’ lives and that’s what I believe real health and social care should be all about.

We are dedicated and committed to Enable and Empower our clients to live Victoriously and Independently in their own homes and in the community.

Yes, we can provide our services online or remotely provided sufficient equipment is in place (sometimes linked and provided by the Local Authority) to enable seamless communication. For example an ‘always-on’ large touch screen Ethel device designed specifically for older people, allowing them to stay in touch with family and carers. Little or no computer experience required.

Adhered to Covid 19 Regulation ensuring carers are adequately equipped with Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as wearing aprons, gloves, face masks, checking temperatures and avoiding others and stay in isolation if showing symptoms.
