Five star service from beginning to end!!
From my initial conversation with Simon he reassured me that he would be able to offer the service I required and after quite a stressful build up to the move it was music to my ears. As we were going to do the move ourselves I wanted a back up plan as knew my husband couldn’t do it on his own! Simon and josh moved me last week, and I would like to do a review to say how happy I was with my move, I recently purchased a new suite and they covered it very well as the weather was poor, they also placed blankets throughout both of my properties to prevent the mud and rain.

I would like to say, how amazed I was with van with a plans services.
Firstly, they arrived swiftly of time, and began to pack my belongings.
Simon had great contact with me, before and after the move which I was pleased about as I had recently moved and the last company I used was terrible, they didn’t care about my belongings unlike Simon and his team who looked after my belongings like they were there own !

After all my belongings were boxed, they got onto putting stuff into the van, they laid blankets down in my property to stop the mud from crawling in which i thought was considerate.

Not once single item was broken, and all my furniture was covered in blankets when loaded onto the van.

I was astonished on how well Simon and his team moved me, I definitely shall be recommending them to family and friends and I shall be using them again !

Absolutely disgusted & VERY unhappy with this company. The owner simon might have done it 10yrs but not the teenagers he bought with him to pack & move me! They had NO idea how to pack, & a perfectly working tv that went on last was somehow "missed" being delivered with rest of move. When bought to me next day, it was dropped on corner, & no longer works, only lines down screen & a line across corner that looks like a crack. After trying to contact simon who stated they insured for a million pound, i have had absolutely NO response back from him at all, leaving me angry & in tears. We are deeply saddened by this review. To set the record straight, and to evidence that the team went ‘above and beyond’ - I will take this opportunity to highlight a number of key points which have been omitted from this summary of events/review. 1. Customer not onsite to review appraise staff The customer (Josie) was not onsite/present throughout the entire moving process, electing to wait at the new property for the duration of the day. Therefore it is questionable how she would be able to rate and review both myself and my staff. • For the 10.30am – 6pm Josie was uncontactable, as her mobile was flat. • All ‘moving’ decisions were left to Josie’s carer who remained at the flat with my team. 2. Aggressive threatening behaviour by Josies carer towards our staff Josie’s carer became extremely aggressive and threatened to ‘knock me out’ after I pointed out that it would be helpful if he stopped drinking cans of larger (from 10am) and watching TV and instead assist us with the move, whilst also making a decision on the large number of TV’s, which were all unboxed and as I explained could not be guaranteed in transit as one ‘one off case’ given the complexity of this move. 3. Starting at 9.30am – finishing the job at 10.30pm We commenced work at 9.30am and completing the job at 10.30pm in the evening as the number of items required to be moved was massively understated. In total we packed and moved over c100 removal boxes, plus furniture. (typically a 1 bed flat requires 20 – 25 boxes). 4. Customer has insufficient funds to pay for the move – 8.30pm The second run and load onto the van commenced ‘without’ Josie having the ability to pay the full amount for the removal services until I was asked by Josie to talk to a relative on the phone at 8.30pm to attain the remaining balance of payment. In spite of this, my team still continued to load the van for the 2nd run without knowing if we would be fully paid for the job. 5. Josie literally ‘sings our praises’ from her window as we leave Josie was so pleased with the service she waved goodbye to the team in our van as we drove away at 10.30pm from her 2nd floor flat window, singing … Amazing, Amazing Amazing … thank you lads !! Given these points we are extremely disappointed by this review ! Ongoing communication and summary • The large TV which was mistakenly left on the van was delivered the following day a full apology was also made for this oversite regarding the unload process. • The TV was reported faulty 24hours ‘after’ it was delivered to the customer • There ‘has’ been ongoing communication with Josie since the day of move to replace a broken electrical plug socket at no cost to josie. Summary. All our staff are highly trained, experienced, knowledgeable and efficient at their jobs regardless of age. The team members who worked with me on the day have participated in over 100+ removal jobs with Bark customers – attaining 5 star reviews from our customers for service, work ethic and kindness and consideration for our customers cherished items. As these points should suggest .. we really do go the extra mile for great customer care and service inspite of all the challenges put before us.
