Respite care
Respite care provides caregivers a temporary care arrangement to allow a much earned break from the pressure of caring for their loved one. This is a bespoke service tailored to the unique needs of the client and carer and can be from 2 hours up to 24 hours. Unique Options provides respite to support and re-energise caregivers.
Respite care can be covered in two ways
VISITING CARE:
Proving support for a client for a few hours a day to allow the carer some free time. We can provide a sit in service from as little as 2 hours to 24 hours. This is to ensure the main carer has an opportunity to spend some time away to relax, go shopping, attend appointments, attend social events and anything else they may have planned. This service will be provided by one of our dedicated, professional skilled member of staff.
LIVE-IN CARE:
The carer will remain in the client’s home, offering round the clock support. We can provide services which include companionship, personal care, help administering medication or support with more complex healthcare requirements. Each client will be provided with an initial assessment to allow the creation of a personalised care plan to ensure optimum care.
