How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Are you looking to get some extra space for a reasonable cost? A garage conversion will give you more space and could be used as a bedroom, home office, gym, kids' playroom, home cinema or whatever you have in mind. It could also slightly increase in value of your house although this is not guaranteed. However, the extra room is likely to be put to good use to help your lifestyle flow a bit better.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
First we would need to see the existing floor, depending on when and how the property was built would help us to address any concrete / foundation issues, so you will have a secure structure. You might like to insulate the room's flooring, ceiling and walls to provide more energy efficiency. We would be happy to discuss modern heating possibilities. Then plastering, skimming and paint, with quality finishing. All depending on existing structure prior to start then you should be able to use your new room relatively swiftly. We would need to check there are no problems with damp, water leakage along the way, but if there are they can be easily addressed to avoid any issues in the long term. We rather spend more time planning due to our experience, to avoid you facing anything untoward later on, so you have hassle free living with peace of mind.
