What inspired you to start your own business?
The director, Graham, founded Turquoise Care (Sussex) after his father had had dementia for several years. He not only did not realise what help was available but after his father passed away, he found out about home care and support for carers. He also found out that the provision of the services was hit and miss. As an Age UK report put it, it was like Russian roulette. Therefore, he started up Turquoise Care (Sussex) so that people could be assured that service users and their loved ones would receive a high quality service.
