Tru-caring cared for my mum, for about 2 years. They were always very helpful and my mum looked forward to their visits. They were always happy to accommodate mums needs and always kept me up to date with everything. I loved the app, especially if I was unable to visit mum. I would recommend them to anyone. More...

Totally professional. My brother had multiple issues and TruCaring dealt with him empathetically and with great care and dignity. Tailored care to his needs, even taking him shopping locally - the only time he got out of his home (TruCaring were proactive in suggesting this).
Living 6 hours away it was reassuring that the twice-daily visits responded to his needs, and I was always kept informed of issues that had developed. On several occasions the carers found by brother having a seizure and alerted the emergency services and stayed with him until medical help arrived.
I have no hesitation in recommending TruCaring - simply the best.

They looked after my mother from the age of 90 until her death at the age of 96. Their caring presence and total professionalism ensured that her family knew, that despite her age, dementia and mobility issues, she was always safe and comfortable and above all in her own home.
I can never thank them enough and will gladly speak or write to anyone seeking further clarification of their excellent level of care in the home

Q&As

Making a difference and helping people stay in their own homes.

Our family had parents and grandparents who struggled to maintain their independence as they grew older, especially once their spouses passed away. They wanted to stay in their own homes, but as time passed this became more and more difficult and we struggled access local services that could support them. We wanted to do something about it, so four of us left careers in education, health and law in 2012 to start Tru Caring to support people in similar situations. In that time we have helped close to a thousand people to remain at home.

We are a family-run business, and we take our business personally. We take great pride in the quality of our services, and the standards of care that we provide. We aim to provide care that we would be happy to receive ourselves, or for our own loved ones.

No, but we do have an app that allows family members to monitor the care that we provide, including attendance data and tasks completed.

By taking a break you may reduce stress levels for both you and your loved one and this will likely improve your relationship with them too.

Loved ones also benefit from Respite as they can have a break from their usual routine and stimulus and get to interact with someone other than their carer.
