1. Bạn cần lên website lấy hẹn online trước 2 hoặc 3 tháng trước ngày muốn đến dsq. 2. Nếu cần gấp không kịp lấy hẹn online, hãy đến càng sớm càng tốt vào buổi sáng để lấy được vé dành cho một vài người không có hẹn trước (vé walk-in), vé walk-in chỉ được dùng trong ngày hôm đó. Giờ làm việc dành cho người có đặt hẹn online trước là 9.30am cho slot đầu tiên trong ngày. Vậy nên người muốn walk-in có thể cần đến từ 7am chờ trước cổng vì có rất nhiều người cũng cần gấp không lấy được hẹn online và họ xếp hàng từ rất sớm. Vé walk-in sẽ được phát vào khoảng 9-9.30 am, theo thứ tự ai xếp hàng trước lấy số trước. (Rất nhiều người đến walk in vào 10am thì đã không còn vé walk in trong ngày hôm đó, bạn có thể chờ nhưng không ai đảm bảo thời gian làm việc đủ để làm tới hồ sơ của bạn). 3. Thứ tự ưu tiên làm việc: người có hẹn online sẽ được ưu tiên làm đúng giờ hẹn của họ. Nếu người đặt hẹn online không xuất hiện, hoặc hoàn thành hồ sơ sớm, thì người có vé walk-in sẽ lần lượt được gọi vào theo thứ tự. 4. Mỗi hồ sơ mất từ 15-45p tùy vào nhu cầu làm. Thời gian làm việc từ 9.30am đến 12.30am các ngày T2 đến T6. 5. Cần lên website xem danh sách hồ sơ, chuẩn bị hồ sơ để đỡ mất thời gian: in sẵn hồ sơ + điền sẵn + nếu yêu cầu hình thì mang theo hình thẻ phải rửa sẵn. 6. Phí làm hồ sơ cần nộp bằng tiền mặt, không nhận thẻ. Nên chuẩn bị dư tiền mặt vì chỗ rút tiền khá xa. MY ADVICE IS DONT BUY A TRAVEL TICKET TO VIETNAM UNLESS, YOU HAVE BOOKED AN APPOINMENT FOR THE VISA. THERE IS A BLACK MARKET FOR BOOKING APPOINMENTS, WHERE YOU WILL PAY 100£ TO TRAVEL AGENTS SIMPLYTO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION FORM FOR YOUR VISA ON YOUR BEHALF. I was appalled to learn that to make an appointment you need to have a ticket or book appointment. The funny thing is the earliest appointment for Oct 2022 is in April 2023. So the website option is there just for fun and no good for anyone. The office is opened at 9.30 but to get the ticket, you will need to get there around 7.00.Only a limited ticket will be given out. The worst public service place in the whole world. The consulate staff was only interested in her phone. The booking system is terrible. You need to book your appointment at least 6 months in advance and have to go to the embassy in person many times to get a piece of paper done. They do nothing to help their citizens. More...

I expierinced a truly awful experience with the Vietnamese Embassy in London. The customer service was at best non existent and at worse inept and disgraceful. We were due to spend 5 weeks in Vietnam from 15/05/20 to 26/06/20. However, due to the global cover pandemic, both Vietnam and the UK closed its borders restricting access or egress to all travellers. We paid £190 by cheque for two 90 day visas. (This payment option was requested from the Vietnamese Embassy) Despite flight and travel restrictions to and from both countries, the Vietnamese embassy refused to issue a refund. They stated that all visa are non transferable or on exchangeable. Despite 53 mails over a one year period, (of which 48 were ignored) no refund or exchange was offered. The reason the Vietnamese Embassy ask for cheque payment is that no bank will offer financial recovery for cheque payments. This Vietnam holiday was on hold for 2023 or 2024 but I’m having reservations of going to Vietnam due to this refund issue with the Vietnamese Embassy. The budget for this holiday was in excess of 15,000 pounds. You would have thought that both the Vietnamese embassy and Government would consider a refund of £190 in favour of a revenue of £15,000. Worse sevice ever in my life…Staffs were really rude and not nice at all…they never response e-mails and calls. The girl wears glasses with short hair…shes not deserve to be a staff at Embassy to be honest! How you could be a receptionist when you dont even know how human being is, at first you need to learn how to communicate with others. They just want to take your money trust me you never could pay by card in there must be always CASH and the price is not publicly, they ask different price with different people, this is how non-professional they are. They work only till 12:30 Mon-Thurs. If you don't have booked appointment then they won't accept you. The appointment in April can be only booked in August. I have Vietnamese clients who want to take voluntary return option and return home. The way Vietnam embassy operates and work makes it impossible to ever get the meeting. Đại diện cho một chính phủ, một nhà nước và một đảng nhưng các nhân viên tại đây đang bôi xấu hình ảnh của đảng, chính phủ và nhà nước. Những nhân viên đại sứ quán ở đây đã bắt tay với những cò chạy giấy tờ hòng trục lợi ích riêng cho bản thân. Hạnh họe và bắt bẻ đủ lí do, thông tin để nhằm gây khó dễ cho công dân buộc họ phải chạy vả những tay "cò" đã ăn rây với nhân viên đại sứ quán. Như tôi đã nói, trong khi công dân vào làm thủ tục thì yêu cầu đủ thể loại thông tin, nhưng khi làm qua những tay "cò" đó người ta không đòi hỏi nhiều thông tin như thế. Đơn cử như việc làm hộ chiếu. Nếu làm qua những tay cò đó thì chỉ cần điền thông tin cá nhân và thông tin về Sổ hộ khẩu. Trong khi nếu công dân tự đi làm thì họ bắt bẻ những thông tin vô lí... Never answer calls nor reply to emails. Fee is not listed hence if you want to apply you have to contact them in order to know the fee. What is the purpose of them being there? So people have to go to the third person in order to apply instead? Can anyone shine some light please? More...
