Toni did my hair and make up for my wedding day in July. I had initially booked someone else who unfortunately let me know that she couldn’t make it on the morning of my wedding! What could have been a really stressful experience for me actually turned out to be a great one and Toni played such an important part in my day. I had had barely any sleep the night before due to nerves/excitement but Toni instantly made me feel relaxed and at ease. She has such a calm and soothing presence which was exactly what I needed. I was delighted with how Toni did my hair and make up. It was actually done to an even higher standard than the make up and hair I’d had done at my trial with the initial MUA. Toni really made me feel so beautiful.I’d had a wedding nerves break out in the week leading up to the big day but Toni somehow managed to make my skin look flawless. I also so impressed by how long lasting the make up was. Usually I have to powder at least twice throughout the day but the only touch up required was my lipstick after I’d eaten. Toni done my makeup and hair for a cake smash photoshoot ( I know I know ) and she couldn't have done any better job. I actually left the makeup on until the next day and it survived sleep, a gym session, 2 hours dog walk, alot of face licking from said dog, some cake being smashed in my face and just general life.

Toni came to do one file and polish today and ended up doing two (and a half). Setting up the appointment was very easy, and Toni is really kind-natured. She was at ease with my crazy house of children. This was my first gel experience and it looks great. Then as I was her last appt of the day, Toni kindly agreed to do my mum’s nails whilst she was there. What do you love most about your job?
Helping brides to feel beautiful and confident is why I do hair and makeup. I love to bring out natural beauty. I also share products that won't ruin your skin and it makes me happy when I can help people with skin issues. I love to do makeup lessons too as a lot of people feel intimidated now with the tutorials you find online. Makeup doesn't need to be complicated, as long as it's fun and you feel great then that's all that matters!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've worked in retail and corporate, and I didn't like either! I prefer being my own boss and choosing to do the things I love.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm friendly, love to make people laugh, notice when someone isn't 100% happy or uncomfortable and will not end the job until you are completely happy. I also use cruelty free and vegan products so that's a big reason!
