Q&As

We find ourselves fortunate to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others. We love our job because it provides us with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people we care for. This work helps us feel a sense of purpose and satisfaction in being able to help others.

What makes our Home care services different is that we put you first. We aim to provide you with the same standard of care that we would expect for our own families. This means valuing each person’s unique qualities and seeing them as an individual, and not as a list of care needs.

We work alongside families and individuals to tailor our services to help our customers stay in control of their own care for as long as they are able to. Delivering the very best Home care is our passion, and we strive to achieve this every day.

We offer tailor-made packages that are right for you, whilst maintaining excellent and competitive value for money. Involving our clients and their loved ones in taking an active role in the planning and provision of their care means we provide a consistent, reliable, and excellent quality service.

Services

We offer Live-in and Live-out home care.
We connect carers who provide specialist home care with people needing care and their families.

Home care may include, cleaning, transport duties, gardening duties and other house hold duties.

Home care may require a carer living in or living out when just day care is required.

We match carers and clients by location, care specialisms, and needs. We provide a connection directly with Live-in care specialists, so clients can choose who they would like to care for them or their families in their homes.

Our carers have a variety of care specialisms such as Dementia or Parkinson's.

Many people we support simply want someone to visit them, to have regular contact, company and conversation. Often, family live in other parts of the UK and are unable to visit as often as they would like to. Sometimes they have recently lost a partner and are finding it hard to adjust.

We can give you a hand with the weekly shop, take you to appointments or accompany you to your favourite social group or gathering. Companionship is quite simply being there for you or your loved one. If you need someone to make sure that you are eating healthily or to go out for lunch with, then your dedicated CarePal will be there for you.

To ensure that you can continue to access all community and social events, all of our CarePals drive and have their own vehicle. This way they can drive you to see friends and access all community activities.

Even though many families take great joy in providing care to their loved ones so that they can remain at home, the physical, emotional and financial consequences for the family caregiver can be overwhelming without some support, such as respite.

Happiest at Home can provide a planned programme of care visits, for a few hours or a lot more, for families, care professionals and those providing unpaid care. Respite provides the much-needed break from the often-exhausting challenges caregivers face, giving them the opportunity to relax and recharge.

Respite has shown to help sustain family caregivers, with health and well-being benefits.

We have a dedicated team who can provide hourly care to support you with day-to-day living. This includes washing and dressing, meal preparation, medical prompts, shopping and any other requirements.

We know that life happens 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – not just between 9 and 5. That’s why we have a fully managed, emergency on-call system in place available to the clients we care for on a regular basis and their families. It means we will come out to attend any incident or situation that requires our input at any time, day or night.
