5 stars all the way.
I would definitely recommend Tira to anyone looking for a logo designer.
Customer service was on point - she never delayed in responding and always let me know if anything did come up.
She was very patient with me which I did appreciate.
Tira advised me well on the colour scheme balancing colour psychology with my own preferences and she worked very hard to get what I had in mind into a solid concept and then onto paper (or screen).
On the whole, the project was done within very good time as well.
She is very understanding when working with new businesses and what the processes are which is great if you a start-up or even an established company. You can trust in her discretion and consideration on that.

Describe your creative process.
We start with a bit of a history lesson, learn more about what you do and what you are hoping to achieve. A bit of brainstorming comes next for your logo if you require one, preferred colours or fonts, how you would like your logo to feel, and also its final uses. It needs to be designed with its final use in mind to make sure that you don't go too fiddly or too bland!
We usually send over a few ideas and move on from there.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
I know people do not like to talk money, but it is a reality we all have to face. I normally like to have half my payment upfront, a lesson learnt from a couple of unpleasant experiences!
For a website, be prepared is not only the scouts motto but mine too, despite the fact that someone is creating your website, you need to have all your information at the ready!
Some good text to input, information about your services and the accompanying photos/images.
Think about how you would like people to perceive you and what you do.
A good way of looking at things is to think of what information you would want to know if you were looking for goods or services yourself?
What do you love most about your job?
After working for the same company for 30 years, I am now freelance, I do enjoy the independence of choosing my own hours, the personalised touch I like to give my clients.
I love to see people's reactions when we have finished our work together, the satisfaction you get when it brings new business in for them or even just having something else ticked of their list that they have been meaning to do for a while.
Also, I get to spend more time at home with my husband and dog, (not necessarily in that order!) and also to indulge my other pastime which is art! I love painting and also create pet portraits which is really satisfying
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was made redundant in 2020, from a flexible signage company, where I had worked for 30 years.
I knew I was good at what I do and I loved working in graphics, it was a bit of a no-brainer so I took a deep breath and dived in. I gave myself six months to see how I went and I am still here!!
Why should our clients choose you?
I like to think I provide a good, personal service, I am quite a straightforward person who likes to take the pretentiousness out of a business that can be potentially full of it.
I enjoy working with individuals and companies who are just starting out like I was, and need that extra bit of help to get everything up and running. There are umpteen things on that start-up list, I just help to remove just a few.

All of my services can be done remotely, or in-person if a client wants to meet me.
I like to think that I am fair at keeping up contact with my customers, helping to keep on top of things so that time doesn't run away with us.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Up until recently, I haven't met many of my clients, most of them have been outside if it was necessary
Logo Design
Price includes initial consultation, you will be shown 3 different concepts with a variation on colour schemes. Included in the price are 2 alterations. Once the logo has been agreed upon, you will have 100% ownership and the logo will be available to you in various formats

Using many of the popular online website builders available, I can help you to create a simple, clean, and easy to use website.
The online builders are more economic and have simple interfaces to help the average user keep them updated with any news and new products easily. Not everybody has the time or inclination to create a site of their own, so let me do it for you.

Sales Literature
Once we have your logo and brand created, we can move onto other important requirements such as business cards, letterheads, flyers, posters, or even a catalogue.
Printed items still serve a purpose to those that do not wish to surf online, many still like the weight of a brochure in their hands to browse through. Small leaflets are ideal as handouts at shows. Flyers and posters are perfect for promoting events, a sales push, corporate services or just to bring yourselves to the front of people's minds.

Fillable PDF Forms
Fillable Pdf Forms are a great tool for your company, it can save time as you are not waiting for completed forms in the post, it saves on paper storage, and you can keep all your completed forms together in a database if required.
You can add images, to make an order form? send out risk assessments prior to visits, use them as part of your everyday business such as a quote, invoice, or a purchase order.
You can add in dropdown boxes, checkboxes, dates and they can even do the calculations for you.

Image Manipulation
This service can produce various results, the term image manipulation covers a whole rafter of things.
We can do something simple like remove red eye from a photo, removing scratches or imperfections.
The most common use is removing the background so that you can show a product on a nice white, clean ground, perfect for use on a website, producing a professional clean-cut appearance.
Another use of this facility is to place a product on an alternative background, for example, a cocktail drink put on a nice beach background to entice you into booking a summer holiday!
The third option is providing a visualisation of a logo on a product, such as taking a company logo and seeing how it appears on a cup, bag, or T-shirt.

Vector redrawing
Here at Tirastan-Graffix we can take any raster image and convert it into a Vector Drawing.
Vector drawings are made up of lines rather than pixels which means that they can be shrunk or enlarged to any extreme without losing quality and definition.
Once your logo / design is in vector format, it is very easy to make simple changes such as colour or tweaking a typeface.
This service is perfect for anyone who has an old logo that they require adding to a promotional item but the quality just isn't good enough or it is the wrong format.
Sometimes companies lose the original copy of their logo, we can simply redraw the logo you have to make it suitable for any future use or again to tweak if you want to update it a little.
