I’m a former Olympic rower and Olympic coach, a fully qualified PT and Concept2 master instructor. I’m offering PT and professional coaching to clients in South Wales and online.

Tim is the best coach I could’ve ever met and he is the only reason I started and stayed in sport of any description. He was the coach at my university rowing club four years ago but since then I’ve never lost touch with him. He committed so much to helping short chubby me become better at rowing and eventually racing in a single scull - and that was only the first year. In my second year he helped me and a buddy in a double scull walk away with a 1st place medal, having faced off a men’s double. I am now in my fourth year of rowing in an amateur club, and I combine my training there with advice and training with Tim.

When I go to Tim for training plans my scores get better and my rowing gets a lot better. I suppose that’s one of the talents of being an Olympic world champion- Tim knows what I needed as a client, he helped me understand my physiology and effective training. His advice is personalised, tailored, sensitive and appropriate for my training goals. For this year up to July 2021, my goal with Tim is to secure my seat in a Henley women’s regatta crew.

I happily and confidently recommend Tim to any new or established athlete looking to work hard and get results.

Tim is a very knowledgeable trainer with an impressive personal background in competitive sports. He quickly and accurately assessed what I needed to work on and provided clear solutions and concrete ways of achieving my goals. The exercise he gave me to do were well-tailored to my ability and I felt that I improved over the course of time that he trained me for. He was always professional and a pleasure to work with. Tim has been my coach for 5 years. As a former Olympic athlete Tim has an outstanding knowledge of physiology and nutrition. He has wide experience of how to periodise training to maximise athlete potential. In my case he incorporates strength and conditioning into a comprehensive training programme that allows me to peak for my key triathlon races each year. Whilst he is an elite athlete himself he is very understanding that any individual can only reach their own potential - he will never try to push someone beyond their capabilities. I have trained with Tim for several years now and in that time have found him to both professional and friendly throughout.

Being an excellent athlete himself he understands the level of consistent work and dedication it requires to achieve results. We have worked together and planned many races and events and had good successes.

One of my main aims was to improve my overall strength and conditioning and Tim has certainly helped me achieve this, he is also very knowledgeable on how to get the best out of weight training and demonstrates the correct way to approach weights and not get injured. I have learnt a wealth of experience from him and know that there is more to come in the future.

Tim is a great trainer and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone at any level who is either starting out or is serious about improving their fitness and overall health, he know what he's doing and understands the psychology and physiology of training properly to achieve tangible results !

Tim is an outstanding personal trainer. He has been my coach for the last four years as I have prepared for a number of triathlon/Ironman races. He has great expertise in physiology which has allowed me to develop strength and power and also correct imbalances which could inhibit performance. We jointly set out the goals for the year. From a basis of testing different aspects of core strength and swim, bike, run data, he builds a progressive plan that we then adapt on an ongoing basis. As an Olympian he knows what it takes to compete at the very highest level. However, for us mere mortals he is an encouraging and expert support. I would very much recommend him! More...
