I contacted Charlotte when I was really struggling with my self-esteem and feeling anxious on a daily basis. I had never had counselling before so I was very nervous but Charlotte went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and I quickly felt at ease and safe to open up. I love supporting people through their mental health journey and into a place where they finally feel free from the struggles that were holding them back from living a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life.

After experiencing my own personal struggles with mental health and witnessing first hand the life-changing effect counselling and wellness can have on oneself, it became my passion to help as many people as possible live a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life.

I feel it is important to give as many people as possible the access to support when they need it which is why I work remotely via telephone and video call (Zoom). I also offer competitive and affordable fees as well as concessions for full-time students, those on low-incomes and those who are unemployed.

I work remotely via Zoom video call or telephone (depending on what you would feel most comfortable with). Zoom is end-to-end encrypted for privacy and security, and I use a secure Wifi network. Telephone sessions are held using a private telephone number.

That is why I give all of new clients an initial consultation to get to know me and my approach, as well as to ask any questions you might have or explain any worries or reservations you have about counselling.

I am a trained integrative therapist meaning I use a combination of therapeutic approaches depending on your individual needs. These include:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Person Centred Therapy
- Transactional Analysis (TA)
- Solution Focussed Therapy

Mental health coaching differs from counselling in the sense that it is a short-term approach often with between 1-6 sessions depending on what you want. It is designed for anyone who doesn't want to or isn't able to commit to counselling for various reasons. We will tailor a plan uniquely to you based on the amount of sessions you want. Whether it be a one off session to get things off your chest or gain some valuable tips and strategies, to a set of sessions to implement your personalised plan.
