I had the pleasure of collaborating with Thomas James Landscapes on designing a small modern garden inspired by my experiences in Portugal, and the result is absolutely stunning.
From the outset, their team understood my vision and translated it into a beautifully crafted outdoor space that captures the essence of Portuguese charm and modern aesthetics.
The design seamlessly blends traditional Portuguese elements, such as mosaic tiles and Mediterranean plants, with contemporary design features, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. What do you love most about your job?
The blend of science and art to create beautiful spaces that work with, and for the land to provide something my clients can look at, stand back and just "Wow! This is my garden". That final moment, passing the garden back into the hands of my clients, is a magical experience having been trusted for months to build their dream space.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked in Horticulture for over 10 years now and designing gardens and shaping future landscapes was the passion that drove me to start the business and work solely on designing outdoor spaces.

Garden design is my passion, if you are looking to create a space to entertain and enjoy whilst improving the biodiversity and ecological benefits of your garden, then I am the right designer for the job. I can provide some services remotely, but to get the best out of me I like to get to site and physically see the space and meet the client as I believe this is the way to produce the best design possible.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am able to offer all meetings via google Meet and can provide all documents in a digital format. Any on-site services can be undertaken from safe distances, we also carry antibacterial sprays with us to disinfect anything that we come into contact with.
