Im only writing this review because its honesty and I think people should know there ok people not rude but the house condition wasnt very good and there was no inspections at all when me and my partner first took a house from them there was a burst pipe under the bath and because I wasnt at the property at the time the water had gotten everywhere it had travelled through the ceilings from the kitchen and living room dripping everywhere the water damage was awful the carpets was saturated in water I wanted the contract cancelled but they said because we had signed a 6 month contract we had to live there despite what had happened when my partner visited the office in Bradford we was told they would sort out the carpets ect. . carpet cleaner,and repaint the house from the damage because the water had ruined it but nothing was done the entire time which I wasnt happy about they just put the heating on full for a couple of days in hope the house would dry out itself which costed us more gas during that time aswell the water bill had gotten higher to £60 a month because of how much water had soaked the house they only offered to put the rent down which was £500 a month to £470 during our time in the house I was fed up with the paint work from the water damage so the living room wall was repainted from money out of our own pocket because of mould which they should of sorted out themselves to be honest another thing the backyard there was stuff in there that was already left from the previous tenants ect... fridge freezer,table chairs that was already rusty and old that should of been removed by a skip! we had informed them about this over and over again but again nothing was done about it for repairs when the boiler pressure was broken for 8 months they had left it despite us telling them over and over again they still didnt do anything only threatening to stop the rent they had gotten someone round to fix it fast one of there own workers which he made out he didnt know anything about the repair its ridiculous like I said they are ok people but for looking after there own houses the to let ones and for inspections they are rubbish if something goes wrong they just give you a excuse to not come out or when they promise to come out eventually they dont answer the phone they shouldn't let there own tenants live in there properties that are below standards and just ignore everything but only contact you when the rent is due I'm sorry to say that I wouldn't rent from these people again.... I went to rent a property from Thinkholmes, I paid application got a guarantor, high deposit and all costs upfront. Even gave my current tenant notice after been told getting everything they asked for I was promised the property. They never took the property off the website when I paid my application fee and still continued to do property viewings, working as a letting agent myself I know that not procedure. Now I have 4 days to find a property to move into after thinkholmes intensively took a property off me I had my heart on and which I was promsied. If you go with these guys there slack, lack of communication in the office and really rude when I asked my money back. More...
