Our whole family loves the Swan. The menu isn't overly complex, but it's all good. Especially the buttermilk fried chicken burger with chips or sweet potato fries. There's a few different seating areas. We often sit in the conservatory for lunch as it's bright and feels surprisingly open.Ale variety isn't going to win any awards but there are enough on tap to satisfy.Staff have always been friendly and fun. Great pub atmosphere, friendly staff and fab food with veg options. Lovely conservatory good for groups. Separate large room at back of pub sometimes used for community cinema, talks etc. Outdoor area is ok but no garden and bit shaded from sun. Great Sunday Roast!
We stopped in on the way back from a weekend in the Cotswolds at this busy little Cheltenham favourite.
We managed to get a table, but I’d recommend booking in advance as most tables had reservations.
We had a chicken roast and a beef roast and both were really good. Heaps of veggies, massive Yorkshire pudding and plenty of meat for £12.

We were in Cheltenham for the day on Tuesday and googled for a suitable place for an early evening meal, so glad we visited this place. The staff were fantastic, we both chose burgers off the adequate but not extensive menu and were really surprised at the superb quality for a mere £7.50 each including a couple of side dishes, i can't praise the staff enough they made us feel very welcome with our well behaved dog. Good priced food with very decent quality. Nice option of drinks. You can sit in a nice comfy seat neat the bar and keep warm in the winter or sit outside in the courtyard and soak up some sun in the summer. Very pleasant
