My first time meeting with a Spell caster and I have to say, it's really worth it. It had been 6months since my husband left me without saying anything. All thanks to Dr Tunde I was able to connect with my husband again with his powerful reunion love spell and now he loves me more than he used to. Eternally grateful with The Great Dr tunde I highly recommend, His contact details babatundesolutioncentre1@gmail.com or on his WhatsApp number +2348143581382 More...

Q&As

I love being a counsellor because in my experience too many people feel unheard, tired, stuck, sad, frustrated or stressed. Listening to and supporting people through whatever it is they are going through is so rewarding. Through counselling I can use my skills, and I am always learning something new, as everyone is unique . I believe that life is easier when you talk about it, and what a privilege it is to help make people's lives easier.

1. I realised there was a real need for a business that provided quality counselling, which was affordable, by someone who not only loved their job, but was able to provide a friendly and professional service.
2. Having worked in both the private and public sectors, providing many different types of therapy, to: children in schools; students at university; inviduals; couples; parents; families; and stressed people at work, I realised I wanted to keep the variety in my daily working life, rather than it depend on where I was working at the time.
3. I enjoy the flexibility of when I work, ( as I'm happy to work evenings and weekends), and also how I work, whether it be working one to one with an individual, with families, or facilitating support groups.
4. Having my own business also allows me to to supervise and train other counsellors.

What to expect from counselling

If you have decided to make an appointment with me, you might be feeling anxious about your first session. Making the decision to get help and address the issues you are facing is an important first step and is not always easy. Knowing what to expect from our counselling sessions should help you feel more prepared and less nervous about your first appointment.

In your first session it is likely that I will ask you some questions to gain an understanding of what’s worrying you and the way your thought processes work. The information obtained here will be used to help you in future sessions.

The following areas may be covered in your first session:
•We will talk about what brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from it.
•I will ask you about your current situation and the day-to-day issues you are facing. We may discuss your personal history which will give me a chance to understand more about you as a person and why these issues may have occurred.
•We will explore what symptoms you are experiencing, whether they are physical or psychological.
All clients can expect the following:

RESPECT . I will be non-judgemental, will be able to hear whatever you are saying, and be receptive.
ENCOURAGMENT. I will be supportive at all times.
EMPATHY. Feeling being understood is important.
CONFIDENTIALITY. You need to feel safe and trust that I will observe confidentiality as assured under the Protection Act.
PROFESSIONALISM. I have a Masters degree in counselling, and am a member of two national professional organisations (BACP & NZAC).
AUTHENTICITY. I will always give attention to care, quality service, and commitment to you.
EXPERIENCE. I have worked as a counsellor all over the world for 20 years, and I still love my job.

Services

Life is not always easy. Sometimes life throws challenges our way that seem like they’re more than we can handle. Counselling is a process which will help and support you if you are experiencing a problem or issue you are keen to resolve, or if you want to explore the way you’re thinking or feeling further.

Working with me can help you see things in a new perspective and give support through difficult times. You may choose to speak to me because you feel you cannot speak to family or friends about such personal issues, or you may simply wish to speak to a professional with an objective viewpoint.

I believe that anyone is capable of overcoming their struggles. So if you are dealing with depression, or anxiety, having a difficult time in an important relationship, going through a significant life change or loss, questioning your career path, or maybe there’s nothing “wrong,” but you want greater satisfaction— in your work, in your relationships, in your life, I am here to support and help you through that process.

My free 30 minute consultation (online, in person or over the phone) will help give you the chance to see if you feel comfortable with me and the way that I work, and to discuss how counselling may benefit you. You can ask any questions you have and together we can decide whether mine is the best counselling and therapy service for you. There is no obligation or commitment needed to attend any further sessions.

Are you and your partner having a hard time getting on the same page about finances, parenting, extended family, and so on?
•Has your relationship with your partner become difficult, distant or uncomfortable?
•Have circumstances such as health or work taken a toll on your relationship?
•Has an affair come between you and your partner?
•Is one or both of you afraid that your relationship is beyond repair?

Counselling can help resolve issues that people may not have been able to deal with effectively on their own. The aim is for couples to get a better understanding of each other and to decide if they need to make changes in the relationship.

Couple counselling can result in healing relationships or even bring relationships to a healthy end.

Choosing the right counsellor is an important process. Because of this I offer an initial 30 minute free consultation with no obligation or commitment to attend any further sessions, to give you the chance to see if you feel comfortable with me and the way that I work.

One factor that can be crucial in helping your child feel better about what’s going on for them is when they find other children that they connect with.

Unfortunately, for some children, finding and maintaining friendships does not always come easily. At the Stress Less Clinic I bring together small groups of children, based on their age and gender once a week for 6 week programmes or 1-day school holiday workshops to work specifically on issues relevant to them.
These groups provide a safe nurturing environment for your child to share their current life struggles and receive encouragement, support and feedback from other children who share similar feelings. The purpose of the group is to help your child by utilizing the power of the group process. Frequently group members vicariously learn coping skills and gain self-awareness. The children in the group often serve as a great source of acceptance and support for one another.

Group counselling also has the advantage of being less expensive, since the therapy costs are shared among group members.

I run a number of different support groups throughout the year for older children (9–12) and teenagers (13–16 & 16-18):
•Anger Management
•Confidence, Assertiveness and Self-esteem
•Coping with loss of a parent through death
•Coping with parents’ separation or divorce
•Dealing with anxiety
•Exam stress
•Living with a chronic illness or cancer

Your child is unique, and all children respond to different situations in their own individual way, but if you are concerned about your child it is always worth seeking professional help.

I have been counselling children and young people, and supporting parents for 20 years, and it is my area of expertise. I have supported children through some of their most challenging situations in life such as bereavement, absent parents, divorce, behavioural issues, bullying and anxiety. I also work with children who struggle with confidence, identity, socialising and low self-esteem.

Counselling with me will give your child the opportunity to talk about how they feel without the fear of judgement. Speaking to a counsellor, away from their home and school life, can take away some of the pressure. Counselling will offer a safe environment for children to express their feelings and understand what may have caused them to feel this way.

Here are some common behaviours and signs you can look out for, which may indicate that further support might be needed:
•Sudden or extreme changes in behaviour, such as becoming very withdrawn and uncommunicative, or alternatively lashing out and becoming boisterous or even violent.
•Expressing negative thoughts, or a particularly low opinion of themselves, for example that they are a ‘bad’ child.
•Provoking or lashing out at other children.
•Disrupted sleep patterns.
•Struggling to adjust to a life-changing event (i.e. moving, divorce, death of a family member or pet, a new sibling).
•Strong desire to avoid school or stay with you at all times.
•Complaining of aches and pains.
•Often engage you in power struggles.
•Afraid to try things on his/her own, has high anxiety or gives up easily.
•Act out or shut down in stressful situations.
•Frequently get into trouble at school.

Counselling is available for children of all ages. The methods used in sessions will depend on your child’s age, situation and their development. There are many techniques that may be used to encourage children to express their feelings better, such as art or play therapy.
Consultations about your child’s progress will be scheduled at regular intervals, and can also be requested at any time

Your teenager is unique, and all teenagers respond to different situations in their own individual way, but if you’re concerned about your child, it is always worth seeking professional help.

With over 20 years’ experience I have supported hundreds of young people through some of their most challenging situations in life such as:
•Bereavement
•Absent parent
•Divorce
•Behavioural issues
•Bullying
•Anxiety

I also work with young people who struggle with:
•Confidence
•Sexual and gender identity
•Socialising
•Low self-esteem,
•Drug or alcohol misuse
•Self-harming
•Risk-taking behaviours
•Suicidal thoughts

I can also help your teenager cope with everyday worries, such as exam stress, and relationship issues with friends, family members and teachers.

Counselling with me will give your teenager the opportunity to talk about how they feel without the fear of judgement. Speaking to a counsellor, away from their home and school life, can take away some of the pressure. Counselling will offer a safe environment for your child to express their feelings and understand what may have caused them to feel this way.

Raising a child through adolescence can be a whirlwind of uncertainty with more than a few emotions. Counselling can give your teenager the resources and insight they need to overcome challenges and thrive in their everyday lives. My goal is to help your teenager grow into a healthy adult who can better process their life experiences in the future.

Teenagers often find it difficult to verbalize their feelings. They may be overwhelmed and even confused by the onslaught of complex feelings that come as they move out of childhood toward adulthood. Not surprisingly, the idea of seeing a stranger doesn’t immediately appear appealing. That’s where an experienced professional counsellor can help. I’ve worked with teenagers all over the world for many years, with a vast range of issues, and have learnt how to connect with them, no matter how reluctant they may be initially to access counselling.

Consultations about your teenager’s progress will be scheduled at regular intervals, and can also be requested at any time

Family counselling for:
•Family conflict
•Managing family dynamics
•Parenting skills
•Couple conflict regarding parenting
•Blended family or step family issues.

Family members are each unique and possess differing viewpoints, needs and wants. Differences can lead to difficulties and conflict within families.

In family counselling I focus on your family as a unit or system and not just individual members. I can help your family work towards healthier relationships and facilitate improved communication so that all your family members feel valued, understood and accepted.

Do any of the following apply to you?
•Has communication within your home become ineffective or bitter?
•Have your family relationships become distant or uncomfortable?
•Does your family spend more time fighting than enjoying each other?
•Do efforts to connect result in arguments?
•Do your family members avoid each other?
•Is your family dealing with a major life event such as moving, changing jobs, loss of a loved one, divorce etc?

If you answered yes to any of the above family counselling may help.

Family counselling provides an opportunity for your family to look at any issues in a safe environment, and to explore difficulties including problems with communication and relationships. Your family can be helped to identify reasons for the problems you are encountering and possible ways forward.

Choosing the right counsellor is an important process. Because of this I offer an initial 30 minute free consultation with no obligation or commitment to attend any further sessions, to give you the chance to see if you feel comfortable with me and the way that I work.
